Listing policy

Learn which projects are listed or excluded and how to ask for removal.

Projects we list

We list software people have built and made public. Projects arrive in two ways.

  • Projects makers submit with /nomorevibe from an AI coding tool — How to submit
  • Projects we discover in public repositories and websites. Automated rules and AI review publish only those meeting the criteria; people review difficult cases.

These pages meet our criteria.

  • A web service's landing page, even if sign-up or payment is required first
  • Desktop or mobile app download pages and terminal tool installation guides
  • Browser and editor extensions, plugins, AI agent skills and MCP servers
  • Library, SDK and framework introductions and installation guides
  • Games, APIs and tools you can use directly on the page

Projects distributed only through a repository are listed if they have at least 500 GitHub stars or the repository contains the files needed to install a skill, plugin or extension.

AI evidence

We look for evidence of AI coding tools in public GitHub repositories: merged pull requests opened by AI agents, development commits signed with an AI tool's name, and tool-specific settings such as .claude or .cursor folders. Evidence adds an ‘AI’ mark to cards and detail pages. Projects originally built by people receive the same mark if AI coding tools are now used in development.

We do not display links to the evidence commits, pull requests or files publicly. Evidence indicates tool use; it does not prove AI wrote all the code. An absent ‘AI’ mark does not mean a project was built without AI. For Operator unconfirmed projects, search engines may index only those with confirmed traces of AI coding tools in the repository.

What we exclude

  • Pages that appear to distribute spam or malware. We recheck published projects daily and remove those flagged.
  • Sites that are not software: company or agency profiles, courses or paid communities, articles, blog posts, newsletters, documentation, listings on other platforms such as Product Hunt or npm, unfinished or empty pages
  • Personal profiles without the person's consent. Résumés, portfolios and personal websites appear in lists, categories and search only after the person submits them or confirms ownership. Before then they are also excluded from search engines.

Unreachable projects are hidden from lists until they become available again.

What ‘Operator unconfirmed’ means

Discovered from public information. Its operator has not confirmed it yet. Names, descriptions and categories come from public repositories and websites or AI summaries, so they may be incorrect.

If you own the project, run /nomorevibe verify in your project folder to verify ownership. This removes the label and lets you manage the description — How to verify

Removal requests

Use the request form near the bottom of the project detail page. A reason is optional.

  • We stop search-engine indexing immediately when a request arrives, before reviewing it.
  • We review it within 24 hours and remove the project from lists and its detail page.
  • We may keep the project listed if the request appears to be a prank or comes from someone who does not operate it.

Visit analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to record visits so we can improve the site. We do not use it for advertising.

We record the following.

  • Pages viewed: the address, page title, language and previous page. We remove values such as search terms and post-login return addresses, keeping only source tags (such as utm) and tab or sort choices.
  • What you click: product cards (which list and position), Visit product, Open repository and GitHub links, saves, reactions, ‘Tried it’, follows, shares, copy buttons, menus, tabs and filters.
  • Searches: search terms are lowercased and cut to 64 characters, and anything that looks like an email address or a long number is removed. We also record the number of results.
  • Submissions and connections: copying the skill install command, viewing or downloading the install script, submission and ownership-verification steps, and sign-ins and GitHub connections (method only).
  • What GA4 collects itself: browser and device type, screen size, approximate location (country and city) and the first referral source.

What we never send: email addresses, names or nicknames, account IDs, text entered in request forms, tokens, or addresses containing secrets. Products are identified only by their address name (slug). GA4 does not store IP addresses; it uses them only to estimate approximate location and then discards them.

Some records are sent to GA4 directly by our server: actual visits to a product’s site or repository, install-script downloads, submissions and ownership verification, GitHub sign-ins and connections, saved ‘Tried it’ ratings and requests, and README badge displays. These carry no IP address or browser details and are linked to the same browser’s visit through the GA cookie. If you turned analytics off, your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, or the request comes from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the server does not send them either.

For signed-in people we also send a pseudonymous number (user_id) derived one-way from the account instead of the account ID, so visits from several devices can be seen as one person’s journey. It cannot be used to find your account or email address.

We use this only to see which pages and features are used and how visitors find and visit products, so we can improve the site. Google (Google Analytics 4) processes the data.

When analytics is on, GA cookies (starting with _ga) recognise return visits from the same browser. We do not use advertising cookies, ad personalisation or Google signals (linking to Google accounts).

GA4 keeps user- and event-level data for 14 months and then deletes it. Aggregated reports may be kept longer.

How to opt out: use the button below or ‘Turn off analytics’ at the bottom of any page. Analytics stops immediately in this browser and GA cookies are deleted. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, analytics never loads. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland we do not use analytics cookies: analytics does not load if your browser's time zone is in Europe, and if you are otherwise identified as being in these regions it runs without cookies.

Contact

Send project requests through its detail page's request form. Owners can run /nomorevibe verify to verify ownership and then edit the description themselves.

If you cannot edit the description yourself, such as for an installable project whose ownership cannot be verified, choose ‘Request a description correction’ in the detail page's request form. Explain what is wrong and how it should read. An administrator reviews and corrects it. This is separate from a removal request and does not stop search-engine indexing.

Requests to remove an SNS-talk post come by email, not through a project page's request form — that form takes down a project or corrects its description. Send the post's address to [email protected]. Requests about data sources, deletion requests and reports go to the same address; we check it regularly.
