A Claude Code plugin marketplace for Shopware development. Provides development tools, test generation, code research, and more — integrated directly into your Claude Code workflow.
Requirements: Claude Code installed.
Add the marketplace, then install the plugins you need:
/plugin marketplace add shopwareLabs/ai-coding-tools
/plugin install dev-tooling@shopware-ai-coding-tools
/plugin install plugin-setup@shopware-ai-coding-tools
Restart Claude Code after installing plugins that include MCP servers. Once setup is complete, you can uninstall plugin-setup to free up description budget (/plugin uninstall plugin-setup@shopware-ai-coding-tools).
On OpenAI Codex, add the same marketplace and install dev-tooling — the only plugin here with a Codex manifest:
codex plugin marketplace add shopwareLabs/ai-coding-tools
codex plugin add dev-tooling@shopware-ai-coding-tools
These plugins work best alongside a few Claude Code tweaks. Turn on ENABLE_TOOL_SEARCH=1 for deferred MCP tool loading. Add complementary marketplaces like Anthropic's superpowers and it-bens/ai-tools (for llm-author and redundant-read-blocker). Pre-approve common tools in settings.json.
👉 See docs/claude-code-setup.md for the full recipe.

Three MCP servers for PHP and JavaScript operations. Supports native, Docker, Docker Compose, Vagrant, and DDEV environments. Runs on Claude Code and on OpenAI Codex, where the servers start without a project root and bind one on demand; the runner agent and the worktree reminder hook are Claude Code only.
/plugin install dev-tooling@shopware-ai-coding-tools
# Codex
codex plugin marketplace add shopwareLabs/ai-coding-tools
codex plugin add dev-tooling@shopware-ai-coding-tools
After installing, also install plugin-setup@shopware-ai-coding-tools, then ask Claude to help you set up the plugin — the dev-tooling-setting-up skill walks you through configuration. Prerequisites: bash 4.1+ (macOS's stock /bin/bash is 3.2), jq, and a restart after install. On Codex, trust the plugin hooks when Codex asks: the SessionStart directive then names the session directory, and the model binds each server by calling set_project_root itself. A server binds only to a project that already holds its configuration file (.mcp-php-tooling.json for php-tooling, .mcp-js-tooling.json for the two JS servers) unless MCP_PHP_TOOLING_CONFIG or MCP_JS_TOOLING_CONFIG names an existing file, and plugin-setup has no Codex manifest, so write that file by hand. Exporting PROJECT_ROOT before starting Codex is the alternative; see the plugin README for its caveat.
See full documentation for configuration and tool reference.
The GitHub CLI tooling has moved out of this marketplace into its own repository, shopwareLabs/github-agent-tools, where it ships as the github-mcp plugin and is Codex-compatible. It is no longer distributed here.
/plugin marketplace add shopwareLabs/github-agent-tools
/plugin install github-mcp@github-agent-tools
If you previously installed gh-tooling from this marketplace, Claude Code drops it on the next start (with a one-line removal notice) — install github-mcp from the new marketplace to keep GitHub tooling.
Generates and validates PHPUnit unit tests for Shopware 6. Analyzes source classes, detects the test category (DTO, Service, Flow/Event, DAL, Exception), generates tests, reviews them against the 43 rules of the Shopware unit-test catalog, and iterates fixes until they pass. Also supports team-based consensus review running as a multi-agent Claude Code Workflow (experimental) — one read-only reviewer for unit, integration, and migration tests, with cross-cutting coverage and integration-to-unit placement flags.
/plugin install test-writing@shopware-ai-coding-tools
Just ask Claude to generate tests — the skill activates automatically:
Generate unit tests for src/Core/Content/Product/ProductEntity.php
Prerequisites: dev-tooling plugin installed, .mcp-php-tooling.json in project root, restart after install.
See full documentation for categories, rules, and workflow details.
Semantic code research using ChunkHound's multi-hop search and LLM synthesis. Understands code architecture, traces data flows, and discovers component relationships.
/plugin install chunkhound-integration@shopware-ai-coding-tools
how does authentication work in this codebase?
find all payment service dependencies
After installing, also install plugin-setup@shopware-ai-coding-tools, then ask Claude to help you set up the plugin — the chunkhound-integration-setting-up skill guides you through ChunkHound installation, embedding provider configuration, and indexing. Restart after install.
See full documentation for setup and configuration.
Knowledge skill for interpreting CI failure logs from Shopware GitHub Actions workflows. Covers PHPUnit, PHPStan, ECS, ESLint, TypeScript, Stylelint, Prettier, Jest, Playwright, ludtwig, and Lighthouse.
/plugin install ci-failure-interpretation@shopware-ai-coding-tools
The skill activates automatically when analyzing CI failures — just ask Claude to interpret logs or debug a failed CI run. No prerequisites beyond installation.
See full documentation for supported tools and failure patterns.
Writing skills for Shopware core contributors: Architecture Decision Records, PR descriptions, commit messages, and RELEASE_INFO/UPGRADE entries. Analyzes branch diffs, classifies changes, asks for context, and writes content calibrated to change magnitude.
/plugin install contributor-writing@shopware-ai-coding-tools
Write an ADR about switching to Redis for cart persistence
Write a PR description for my changes
Write a release info entry for my changes
Generate a squash commit message for this branch
Write a commit message for my changes
Skills activate automatically. PR analysis uses whatever GitHub access is available — e.g. the github-mcp plugin from the github-agent-tools marketplace, or the gh CLI.
See full documentation for workflow details and writing rules.
Two skills for analyzing GitHub pull requests and issues in depth. Each fetches the contribution data and researches its architectural context, producing a structured analysis covering scope, impact, and code relationships.
/plugin install code-contribution-analysis@shopware-ai-coding-tools
chunkhound-integration using an incremental (Stage 1/2/3) strategychunkhound-integrationPrerequisites: chunkhound-integration plugin installed and configured. The skills stop with an error if ChunkHound is not available at runtime. GitHub access (MCP server, gh CLI, or API) is fetched with whatever is available in the session — no specific tool required.
Just ask Claude to analyze a PR or issue and the right skill activates:
Analyze PR #4521 in shopware/shopware
Analyze issue #8910 in shopware/shopware
See full documentation for details and Agent SDK integration examples.
Bootstrap a Shopware development environment from scratch. Clone, install dependencies, set up the database, scaffold or activate plugins, and build frontends — via a single orchestrated skill that hands off to dev-tooling when done.
/plugin install shopware-env@shopware-ai-coding-tools
After installing, ask Claude to set up your environment:
Set up a Shopware development environment
Bootstrap Shopware and a new plugin called SwagExample
Clone Shopware and SwagCommercial, set up everything
The dev-environment-bootstrapping skill activates automatically. No prerequisites beyond docker/ddev/vagrant/native environment of your choice.
See full documentation for tool reference and configuration.
Technical migration skills for Shopware extensions — each skill covers one mechanical, machine-verified migration. The first skill, xml-config-migrating, migrates an extension's XML configuration to PHP before Shopware 6.8 removes XML support (Symfony 8 drops the XML loaders). Covers services.xml, services_test.xml, routes*.xml, and packages/**/*.xml; Shopware-specific formats like config.xml and custom-fields.xml are untouched.
/plugin install code-migration@shopware-ai-coding-tools
The skill activates when you ask to migrate plugin config to PHP or when the 6.7 deprecation The XML configuration file "..." is deprecated and will not be loaded in v6.8.0.0 shows up. The migration is strict 1:1 and machine-verified. Claude dumps debug:container and debug:router per environment before and after the edit — --env=<env> on the command line, output captured to a file rather than read into the conversation — and three bundled scripts inventory the XML files, diff every dump pair and print the verification table, and check the migrated PHP for missing imports. You run your test suite, and the report carries the script's verdict. Requires a running Shopware 6.6+ installation with the extension active and a working bin/console, plus jq.
See full documentation.
Interactive setup skills for plugins that ship a SETUP.md. Install alongside a plugin that needs configuration, run setup, then uninstall to keep the description surface small.
/plugin install plugin-setup@shopware-ai-coding-tools
.mcp-php-tooling.json and .mcp-js-tooling.json, walks through scopesAsk Claude to set up the specific plugin you just installed:
Help me set up dev-tooling
Help me set up chunkhound-integration
No prerequisites. Skills are self-contained and uninstallable once you are done.
See full documentation for details.
Structuring skill for Markdown documentation surfaces: size budgets per file, one subject per surface, splitting oversized surfaces into docs/ siblings, and cross-reference integrity. Ships a measurement script that reports counted characters and resolves every relative Markdown cross-reference (web and mail links [http, https, mailto] and non-.md targets are skipped by design).
/plugin install shopware-documentation@shopware-ai-coding-tools
Is this README too long?
Measure the docs under src/Core/Framework/ContentSystem
Split this README into docs/ siblings
Where does this documentation belong?
The structuring-documentation skill activates automatically. Prerequisites: a Unix-like host (bash and POSIX utilities; present on macOS and Linux). No other plugins required.
See full documentation for the script modes, budget flags, and scope rules.
Selected skills are available as portable packages following the Agent Skills specification. Download ZIPs from the latest release and install them in your tool of choice:
To opt a skill in for export, place an empty .agent-skills file next to its SKILL.md.

Some plugins in this marketplace integrate with external services (e.g. chunkhound-integration wraps the ChunkHound CLI with user-configured embedding providers such as VoyageAI or OpenAI). These integrations are entirely opt-in and user-configured: the plugins invoke user-installed CLI tools using environment variables and configuration files supplied by the user. Shopware Labs does not receive, store, or route any data processed through these integrations. Users who configure external AI providers are solely responsible for compliance with those providers' terms of service and any applicable data protection requirements, including obligations arising from transfers to third countries.

[!NOTE] Yes, an AI wrote this README. And everything else as well. Yes, a human told it to add emojis. The human has ADHD, which — as it turns out — means his brain already ran on associative pattern-matching and nonlinear leaps before LLMs made it cool. They call him ... LLMartin. The emojis are a feature.
