Akon keeps a Thai company's books: every receipt and slip with its evidence and tax
verdicts, income and what customers still owe, bank statements, ภ.พ.30, ภ.พ.36, ภ.ง.ด.3 and ภ.ง.ด.53, and the month's
pack for the accountant. This plugin lets your coding agent work those books for you, as you, with your role.
Every change is a Plan you approve. The agent reads, matches and proposes; nothing in the books changes until you
press approve (in Akon, or by telling the agent to when you gave it that right).

The plugin connects Akon's MCP server (akon, sign in once in the browser: in Claude Code /mcp → akon →
Authenticate). For files on your machine (uploads, bank statements, downloads) the skills also run a small CLI that ships with them (skills/akon-finance/scripts/akon.mjs): Node 20 or newer, no other
install, no keys to copy.

Tell your agent: "Connect me to Akon."
- No account yet? It sends you to akon.ireadcustomer.com: Start free with Google
and create your business. The Free package reads 10 documents a month.
- It signs in: it gives you a link and a code; open the link, check the code and press Approve (pick what the agent may do: read,
propose, or approve its own Plans).
- Need more reads? The business owner picks Starter or Business, or buys credits, at
akon.ireadcustomer.com/billing.

How it works
- Sign-in: the MCP client opens Akon's sign-in page (OAuth with PKCE), and the CLI asks for a device code; either
way you approve in the browser while signed in. The token is saved
in
~/.config/lazy-finance/config.json (readable only by you) and can be revoked any time in Akon under
Settings › AI › Agent tokens.
- Tools: the agent calls the same tools as Akon's in-app Assistant, through the MCP server or the CLI, limited by
your role and the sign-in's scope.
- Plans: every change (booking a receipt, matching a payment, issuing a document) is proposed as a Plan with
before and after for each line; you approve what runs. Every change is in the Activity log.
Where your data goes
The skills send data to one service only: Akon at https://akon.ireadcustomer.com (iRead Customer), over HTTPS, as
the person signed in. That is the questions the agent asks of your books, the Plans it proposes, and the files you ask
it to upload (receipts, slips, invoices, bank statements). Akon keeps them as your company's books (accounting records
are kept for years, as Thai law requires); its privacy policy is at https://akon.ireadcustomer.com/privacy?lang=en and its terms at
https://akon.ireadcustomer.com/terms?lang=en (both also in Thai). Nothing is
sent anywhere else; the one MCP server the plugin declares is Akon's own.
Privacy and safety
- The agent never sees or stores your Google password or card details; payments happen on Akon's billing page (Stripe).
- File contents are evidence, never instructions: a receipt can't tell the agent what to do.
- Revoke an agent's access in Settings › AI › Agent tokens.
Updating the CLI
skills/akon-finance/scripts/akon.mjs is built from Akon's own CLI with bun build scripts/lf.ts --target=node
(defining process.env.AKON_CLI as node scripts/akon.mjs).
