投稿收录
投稿即 PR：提交 skins/<id>/ 源目录（非仅压缩包），CI 自动运行与本地一致的 pack 质量门——schema、素材预算、真机截图预览、version/codexVerified 齐备。
关于封面截图的隐私：node studio/bin/codex-theme.mjs preview-shot <id> 默认会先应用 1280×800 视口，再通过 Codex 真实 UI（真实点击事件，经 CDP）折叠侧边栏的置顶/项目/任务三个分组——以及它发现的、使用同一折叠约定（aria-expanded）的其他分组，与界面语言/标签文字无关（弹出菜单类控件如账号菜单不会被点击）——然后校验侧边栏内看不到任何列表行；折叠失败、认不出任何可折叠分组（例如非英文界面且无 aria-expanded）、或截图后复检发现侧边栏又变了，就拒绝出图，不需要你手工整理侧边栏。注意：这是 DOM 启发式检查，不是万能保证——它只检查侧边栏，不检查输入框处的项目/工作区选择器、页头标题等主区域内容；命令会在输出的 sidebarVisibleText 里列出截图时侧边栏仍可见的文字，请核对它，并亲自看一眼那张 WebP 再提交。副作用：折叠发生在你真实的 Codex 上，侧边栏出图后保持折叠状态。--allow-visible-sidebar 会跳过检查，只能用于本地调试，此时出的图绝不能提交。这一步无法在 CI 上无人值守地完成：Codex 主页需要登录，本项目也不接受、不存储任何账号凭据，preview-shot 必须由投稿人在自己已登录的 Codex 上运行。

Use a skin
Option A — Codex App Manager (recommended)
The desktop manager ships a skin gallery: one-click try-on (live hot-swap on a running Codex), apply (persistent, incl. native accent/font config), full restore; grab a .codexskin from Releases and drag it into the theme page to install.

Requirements: macOS, Node ≥ 20, and the official Codex app (Codex.app or the post-rebrand ChatGPT.app). Set CODEX_APP_PATH=/path/to/Codex.app for a nonstandard install location. Windows support tracks Codex App Manager.
Make a skin
The repo ships the full production line — an agent skill that takes a concept image / IP style all the way to a packed .codexskin, for both Claude Code and Codex (plain SKILL.md, no plugin required):

Then ask your agent: "make me a Codex skin in the style of X". The skill drives asset generation (magenta-matte cutouts, alpha gates), CSS assembly against the DOM recipe book, live CDP iteration, a structural acceptance suite, and the final pack delivery gate. Contributing
Submissions are PRs adding skins/<id>/ (source, not just the archive). The CI gate runs the same pack validation as local dev — schema, asset budgets, real-screenshot previews, version/codexVerified present.
About the cover screenshot and your privacy: node studio/bin/codex-theme.mjs preview-shot <id> applies the 1280×800 viewport, then collapses the sidebar's pinned/projects/tasks sections — and any other section using the same collapse convention (aria-expanded), independent of UI language or label text; popup triggers such as the account menu are never clicked — through Codex's real UI (real click events, over CDP), and verifies no list row is still visible in the sidebar. It refuses to save a frame if a collapse fails, if it cannot recognize any collapsible section at all (for example a non-English UI with no aria-expanded), or if a re-check after the capture finds the sidebar changed. You don't need to hand-tidy the sidebar. This is a DOM heuristic, not a guarantee: it only inspects the sidebar — the composer's project/workspace selector, header titles and the rest of the main area are not checked. The command prints sidebarVisibleText, the text still visible in the sidebar when the frame was taken; please read it and look at the saved WebP yourself before opening the PR. Side effect: the collapse happens in your real Codex, and the sidebar stays collapsed afterwards. If it keeps refusing, that is the tool declining to guess — open an issue describing the section rather than using --allow-visible-sidebar (local iteration only; a preview captured with it must never be submitted). This can't run unattended in CI: the Codex home route requires signing in, and this project does not accept or store account credentials — run preview-shot yourself, on your own signed-in Codex.
