Clipy is a Clipboard extension app for macOS.

Keyboard Shortcuts
Use these default shortcuts while Clipy is running:

| History | ⌃⌘V (Control + Command + V) | Open clipboard history to select a previously copied item. |
| Snippets | ⇧⌘B (Shift + Command + B) | Open the snippets menu to select a saved snippet. |
| Settings | ⌃⌥⇧⌘V (Control + Option + Shift + Command + V) | Open Settings, including when the menu bar icon is hidden or you cannot open the menu. |
You can change these shortcuts in Settings > Shortcuts. The Settings shortcut can be changed but cannot be removed, so you can still access Settings after removing the other shortcuts.

How to Build
macOS checks Accessibility permission by the app's code signature. If Clipy is built without a stable signing certificate, macOS may ask for Accessibility permission again for every build.
For this reason, the default signing settings use the Clipy signing certificate. This certificate is available only to the maintainer, so local builds require switching to ad-hoc signing before building.
Build for ad-hoc usage
- Open
Clipy.xcodeproj in Xcode.
- Switch to ad-hoc build mode:
- Open
Configurations/CodeSigning.xcconfig.
- Uncomment
#include "Configurations/CodeSigning-AdHoc.xcconfig".
- Build the
Clipy scheme.
If you want to use Firebase features, place your own GoogleService-Info.plist in Clipy/GoogleService. This file is not required for local builds without Firebase.
