A retro pixel-art office that visualizes your dev activity — live.
Demo mode with the bundled sample data. Run npx digitally-office
in your own repo and the rooms become your directories.
Every module of your repo becomes a room. Pixel agents — you *and your Claude
Code sessions* — walk between rooms, sit at desks and work on whatever is
actually being changed. Commits launch a rocket off the roof. There's a dragon.
And a party button. 🎉

cd your-repo
npx digitally-office
That's it. It scans your repo, turns your biggest directories into rooms
(room size ∝ codebase size — as the code grows, the room grows), watches the
file system and git, and opens http://localhost:4242.
npx digitally-office --install-hooks
This copies a tiny hook into .claude/hooks/ and merges it into
.claude/settings.json (nothing is overwritten). Restart your Claude Code
sessions and each one appears as its own visor-wearing pixel agent:
deploy commands roll a rocket
onto the launch pad — liftoff when the deploy goes quiet 🚀The hook is fail-silent: when the office server isn't running it exits in ~70 ms and never slows Claude down.

Drop a .devoffice.json in your repo root:
{
"signText": "ACME",
"lang": "tr",
"port": 4242,
"host": "127.0.0.1",
"capturePrompts": true,
"floorNames": { "1": "PRODUCT", "0": "MACHINE ROOM" },
"rooms": [
{ "id": "crm", "name": "CRM Lounge", "floor": 1,
"paths": ["modules/CRM", "functions/src/crm"] }
]
}
Everything is optional — signText defaults to your repo folder's name,
rooms to the auto-generated map, lang to English (?lang=tr works too).
The office is a local tool and it defaults to staying that way:
127.0.0.1 only. Nothing leaves your machine and nobody on your
network can reach it. Want it on a second screen or a projector laptop? Run
npx digitally-office --host 0.0.0.0 — you'll get a warning banner, so use it
only on a network you trust.--no-capture-prompts or set "capturePrompts": false.~/.digitally-office/sessions/*.jsonl on your own disk, so you can replay a
good day later. Nothing is uploaded anywhere — there is no telemetry, no
analytics, and the package has zero dependencies.One zero-dependency Node server (node:http + Server-Sent Events +
fs.watch) and one static vanilla-JS canvas page at 640×360, scaled with
image-rendering: pixelated. No build step, no frameworks, no assets — every
sprite is drawn from code. Session logs are written to
~/.digitally-office/sessions/ as JSONL, so you can replay a good day later.
