An open-source OAuth2 and OpenID Connect server for simple, secure authentication.
If you're building applications and need to handle user logins, manage permissions, or enable users to sign in across multiple apps with one account, Goiabada takes care of this for you. Instead of building authentication from scratch, you can integrate Goiabada and focus on what makes your application unique.README 전문 보기 ↗Goiabada is an open-source authentication server built on OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect. Your apps sign users in with any standard OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect library, with no SDK to adopt, and you choose where the auth server and its database run.
Goiabada runs on your servers, and your users' data stays in your database. It doesn't phone home: there's no telemetry, and its pages load no fonts, scripts, or images from anyone else's servers. The one exception is the optional Turnstile challenge: while you have it on, the sign-in, forgot-password and registration forms load Cloudflare's widget, and the auth server asks Cloudflare to verify each submission.
An auth server holds the keys to everything else, so security comes first in every change. Among what Goiabada does:
HttpOnly, SameSite cookie, with CSRF protection on every form.gosec, govulncheck), the race detector, and tests on all four databases.See Security for the full list. Found a vulnerability? Email [email protected], and keep it private until a fix is released.
All you need is Docker with Docker Compose. In an empty directory, download the setup wizard for your platform, run it for local testing with SQLite, and start Goiabada.
Linux and macOS: set PLATFORM to linux-amd64, linux-arm64, darwin-arm64 (Apple Silicon), or darwin-amd64 (Intel).
PLATFORM=linux-amd64
curl -LO https://github.com/leodip/goiabada/releases/latest/download/goiabada-setup-$PLATFORM
chmod +x goiabada-setup-$PLATFORM
./goiabada-setup-$PLATFORM --type=local --db=sqlite
docker compose up -d
grep GOIABADA_ADMIN_PASSWORD docker-compose.override.yml
Windows (PowerShell):
curl.exe -LO https://github.com/leodip/goiabada/releases/latest/download/goiabada-setup-windows-amd64.exe
.\goiabada-setup-windows-amd64.exe --type=local --db=sqlite
docker compose up -d
Select-String GOIABADA_ADMIN_PASSWORD docker-compose.override.yml
Open the admin console at http://localhost:9091 and sign in as [email protected] with the password the last command prints. The quickstart walks through each step. When you're ready to run it for others, choose a deployment method.
