Every avatar asset you've bought, in one pile.
Booth, Gumroad, Jinxxy, Payhip and itch.io purchases in a single library you can search, filter and keep.
You bought that hoodie. Was it on Booth or Gumroad? Did the creator update it? Do you still have the
files? Hoard answers those without opening four tabs.README 전문 보기 ↗You bought that hoodie. Was it on Booth or Gumroad? Did the creator update it? Do you still have the files? Hoard answers those without opening four tabs.

creators update their files. Guides for everything, from installing to fixing a problem, are in the wiki, also in Japanese and Korean.
Hoard-Setup-<version>.exe from Releases
and run it. It installs for you only, with no administrator prompt, and adds Hoard to the Start menu.gh attestation verify Hoard-Setup-<version>.exe -R Soloflighter1010/Hoard-Asset-Manager.Updating: in Settings, Updates, choose Check now, then Update to the new version: Hoard
downloads it, checks it against the release's checksums, closes, installs it and opens again. (Turn on Check
for updates automatically to be told when there's one; it's off unless you do.) Or run the newer setup
yourself; there's no need to uninstall first. Your settings, library, sign-ins and
tags live in Hoard's app-data folder (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Hoard), and your downloads in your downloads folder, so
installing, updating and uninstalling never touch them.
Hoard's window uses Microsoft Edge WebView2, part of Windows 11 and kept up to date on Windows 10; without it, Hoard opens in your web browser instead (quit it from Settings).
Hoard-<version>-macos-apple-silicon.pkg (M-series Macs) or
Hoard-<version>-macos-intel.pkg from Releases
and open it. It isn't signed by Apple yet, so macOS won't open it at first: choose Done, then System

Flathub. Both open in Hoard's own window. To update, install the newer file the same way (Settings › Updates says which). Details: Installing Hoard.
From source (any system): install Python 3.10 or newer,
download Hoard-<version>.zip, extract it, and run Hoard.bat (Windows) or ./run.sh. It sets up a private
Python environment (every package checked against a recorded fingerprint), then opens Hoard.
Coming from Hoard 1.x? Your sign-ins and tags carry over by themselves. The setup assistant brings over your library list and downloads folder: choose the folder you ran 1.x from.
.unitypackage
or .zip in a product's files) shows every file it holds, in its folders, with the previews Unity keeps for
them, without extracting anything; for a .zip, what each Unity package in it holds too. What it needs
(in a product's details) lists what its packages use that isn't in them: shaders and tools such as lilToon,
Poiyomi or Modular Avatar, and whether it also uses files from other products (a base avatar, say). When an update
replaces a file, the old one is kept (Previous versions, with Restore). group products you use
together (an avatar, its outfits, its shaders), downloaded or not, in a tab beside the stores: each set a big tile
(with a picture of your choosing, if you like), opening to a folder of its products; share one as a short link
that shows what's in it and where to buy each for 14 days (locked first, so Hoard's share server can't read it),
and Hoard for Unity imports a set in one go.Hoard for Unity brings what Hoard has downloaded into the Unity editor. Open Hoard › Open Hoard (its own menu in Unity's menu bar) to
search your downloads with thumbnails, see which products are already in the open project (read from
the asset GUIDs inside each .unitypackage), and Import one through Unity's own import dialog, with no
downloading again. A package a product came zipped in (as many Booth products do) is there too, under its .zip:
Import unpacks just that package and opens the same dialog. A product whose packages need something this
project doesn't have (a shader or a tool) says what, and Import asks first. It only reads Hoard's catalog, checks Hoard's seal on it, and is editor-only, so
nothing reaches your uploads.
Add it in the VRChat Creator Companion: open Hoard's website
and choose Add to VCC, or go to Settings › Packages › Add Repository and paste
https://hoard.furryup.link/index.json. Then add Hoard to a project. Without
VCC, import the .unitypackage from one of its releases ("Hoard for Unity ...", tagged unity-v...) on the
Releases page.

Everything also works from the command line, for scripts and computers without a desktop: docs/COMMAND-LINE.md.
In plain words, here's what protects you. SECURITY.md has the technical details.
Your store accounts
Your computer
Your files
Hoodie…exe shows up as Hoodie…jpg) are removed.Hoard itself
Your privacy
What no app can protect you from
Staying safe yourself
You sign in to each store once, in a browser window that belongs to Hoard alone (never your everyday browser). The Library and Downloads share them, so you sign in once. They're kept here, one folder per store:
| Windows | macOS | Linux |
|---|---|---|
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Hoard\sign-ins | ~/Library/Application Support/Hoard/sign-ins | ~/.local/share/Hoard/sign-ins |
"allow_unprotected_signins": true in Hoard's config.json; they're then protected only by
being readable by your user account alone..browser-profile next to the program) are split
into one folder per store automatically on first run, and the old copies removed.Using one download folder from two computers (say, a NAS): each computer's Hoard seals its records
with its own key, so each would treat the other's changes as unverified and fetch store links again. To
share the folder, copy integrity.key from Hoard's app-data folder on one computer to the same place on
the other.
Hoard has two kinds of tags:
FoxyHoodie v2 gives foxy and
hoodie), with filler words and version numbers left out.Ways to tag:
Your tags are saved in Hoard's private app-data folder (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Hoard\tags.json on
Windows), and the Library and Downloads share them: tag something in one and it's tagged in the other.
Filter by any tag from the sidebar; filters combine.
Hoard works without an internet connection for everything except refreshing, signing in and downloading. It saves every product image after each refresh, so your whole library, its search and its images work offline, and its typefaces come with it. When a store can't be reached, Hoard says so and leaves your saved library and downloads as they were.
Hoard.bat debug <store> or Hoard.bat probe jinxxy and attach the output, after checking it: those files show your purchases, and screenshots can show your account name. Most of Hoard's code, design and documentation was written by an AI assistant (Anthropic's Claude), directed and tested by the maintainer. That includes the Japanese and Korean translations of the app and of this README, so some of their wording may be off: tell us when something reads wrong. AI-DISCLOSURE.md explains what that means for you. Hoard itself doesn't use AI, and your data never goes to one.
docs/ARCHITECTURE.md explains how Hoard is built: the store readers, sign-ins,
the local servers and their safety rules, and how releases are made.
The wiki's Development and
Releasing pages cover tests and releases step
by step. The wiki itself is written in wiki/ and published by the Wiki workflow.
To make a release, raise __version__ in hoard/__init__.py, add a section to CHANGELOG.md, then push a
tag such as v2.0.1. GitHub Actions builds the zip and publishes the release with that version's
changelog. python scripts/build_release.py builds the same zip locally into dist/.
This repository is also a Unity project in VRChat's template-package
layout: open the folder in Unity 2022.3 to work on Hoard for Unity in Packages/soloflighter.hoard. To release
it, raise version in its package.json and add a section to its CHANGELOG.md; publishing tags
unity-v<version>, and Build Release publishes the .zip, .unitypackage and package.json, then
Build Repo Listing rebuilds the VCC listing on GitHub Pages. Once: add the repository variable
PACKAGE_NAME = soloflighter.hoard, and set Settings › Pages › Source to GitHub Actions.
The logo files are in brand/. The wordmark is outlined from Dela Gothic One, so the files need no fonts
installed.
