plugins/kvendra-skills/.mcp.json	Declares the kvendra-cloud HTTP MCP server (https://api.kvendra.cloud/mcp). /plugin install adds it to the user's ~/.claude.json automatically. The server is named kvendra-cloud (not kvendra) so it does not collide with users who already have the local kvendra CLI MCP server registered — Claude Code resolves same-name servers by scope precedence and a Plugin server is eclipsed silently by any Local server with the same name.

plugins/kvendra-companion/	Optional second plugin: a read-only Claude Code mod that shows a band above the prompt (project, open TXNs, entities, open ISSUEs, Files usage, the kvendra-skills version, Claude Code consumption). See its README.

It only reads the KB, never writes, and shows no money. Its local per-turn usage log is off unless ~/.claude/kvendra-companion/ENABLED exists. Details in plugins/kvendra-companion/README.md.

The plugin does NOT bundle the Kvendra CLI Rust binary that handles local primitives (kvendra.git, kvendra.github, kvendra.aws, …) — those operate on your laptop's filesystem by construction and need to run locally. The KB tools that the 28 skills invoke are 100% cloud and work with just this plugin + a Pro account.

All 26 are wire-public (see IF-KVD-ENTERPRISE-004 in the Kvendra KB):

entity_create	Create a typed entity (PRJ, CMP, IF, REQ, TEST, REG, ISSUE, REL, SLA, ROAD, GLO, STD, PAT, ADR, RUN, UX, DOC, ENV, COST, CFG).
entity_update	Read-modify-write. Requires change_summary.
entity_archive	Soft-archive an entity.
entity_related	Outbound + inbound relations.
entity_query	Boolean filter (tags_all, tags_any, status, dates, project, component).
entity_search	Semantic search (pgvector HNSW, cosine similarity).
txn_create / txn_activate / txn_cancel / txn_check_interrupted	Transactional grouping for drafts.
whoami	Identity + tier + role + auth_mode.
config_get	Per-user / per-project config.
help	Static protocol topics (bootstrap, naming, txn, errors, …).
export	Export your KB as a tar.gz archive (async job).
check_notifications	Pull changes other writers made to entities you reserved, plus your dispute inbox.
raise_dispute / resolve_dispute	Record and resolve a disagreement over an entity.
approve_proposal / reject_proposal	Approve or reject staged governance proposals.
file_upload_init / file_complete	Upload a file to Workspace Files (short-lived presigned PUT, then size/sha256 verification).
