It provides a simple toggle to allow or block creeper spawns, making it easy for server administrators to protect builds and players from creeper explosions.
This plugin is supported on the Minecraft versions listed in minecraft-versions.json: currently 1.19.4, 1.21.11, 26.2 and 26.3 (Spigot and its forks). Every stable release is booted on a real server of each of these versions before it is published, and every build checks that the plugin only uses Bukkit API that exists on all of them. Other versions from 1.19.4 onwards are expected to work but are not tested. To support another version, add it to the file: both checks pick it up.

Unit tests live under src/test/java and run with mvn test. They cover the spawn listener, the config service, the commands, and the plugin class's config version check, allowSpawning lookup, command routing and the usage event each command reports, using JUnit 5 with Mockito standing in for the Bukkit types those classes talk to. The vendored usage-reporting client under trace/ has its own tests, which send events to an HTTP server the test starts on a loopback port and read and write plugins/trace/config.yml in a temporary directory; nothing leaves the machine.
The Build workflow runs mvn clean package on pushes to main and on every pull request, which runs those tests and confirms that the shaded JAR is produced. It then checks the JAR against every version in minecraft-versions.json: each Bukkit class, field and method it uses must exist on that version, and its bytecode must fit the Java that version runs on.
The tests exercise the classes in isolation; they do not start a server, so anything that depends on the real Bukkit runtime — plugin startup, listener registration, config file reading and writing — is still verified by hand on a server, as described under Development.
mvn clean packagetarget/ into a Spigot or Paper server's plugins folder.allowSpawning is false and spawn normally once it is set to true.A VS Code dev container providing Java 8 and Maven is included. It builds the plugin; it does not run a Minecraft server.

NoMoreCreepers reports its usage by default: when the plugin is enabled, and each time a player runs one of its commands, it sends its name, its version and the command's name to https://trace.danielstephenson.dev, so it is known which plugins are actually in use. Nothing about players, worlds or IP addresses is sent, and neither is anything typed after a command.
Each event also carries a random server ID (the server-id line in plugins/trace/config.yml) so
servers can be counted rather than events. It identifies no person, account or IP address; delete
the line to get a new one.
Repeats of a command event within 60 seconds are not sent one by one: the first goes out at once, and the rest are sent as one event carrying how many there were. The startup event is never held back.
To turn it off:
usage-reporting.enabled: false in plugins/NoMoreCreepers/config.yml;enabled: false in plugins/trace/config.yml (created on the first start);TRACE_USAGE_REPORTING=off or DO_NOT_TRACK=1.
