A cross-platform desktop application for browsing, querying, and inspecting openEHR CDR instances (EHRBase, Better Platform, etc.) — a Postman alternative built specifically for openEHR.
Built with Tauri (Rust) + Vue 3 + TypeScript.

Installation
Download the latest build for macOS, Windows, or Linux from GitHub Releases.
macOS — also installable via Homebrew:

Ubuntu 24.04+: running an AppImage requires libfuse2t64 (sudo apt install libfuse2t64). On Ubuntu, prefer the .deb/APT install. AppImages released before the libwayland fix (≤ v0.9.2) crash on Ubuntu 26.04 with EGL_BAD_PARAMETER; workaround: ./*.AppImage --appimage-extract && rm -f squashfs-root/usr/lib/libwayland-* && ./squashfs-root/AppRun.

Tool Comparison
The Postman for openEHR — but template-aware.
There is no dedicated developer GUI for openEHR. Developers currently reach for generic tools (Postman, curl) or heavyweight alternatives (openEHRTool v2 with Docker, Better Studio for Better Platform only, ehr-ctrl). openEHR Explorer fills that gap.

Code signing policy
Free code signing for Windows releases is provided by SignPath.io, certificate by SignPath Foundation.
- Scope: only Windows installers built from this repository by the GitHub Actions workflow in
.github/workflows/ci.yml on GitHub-hosted runners are submitted for signing. Release tags use the release-signing policy; manually triggered and same-repository labeled PR builds use test-signing. See ADR-0029.
- Roles: committer, reviewer and approver — @platzhersh (project owner). Signing requests for release builds are approved manually in SignPath.
- Privacy: the app talks to the openEHR servers you configure and to GitHub Releases for update checks. Release builds that include an Aptabase app key also send anonymous analytics to Aptabase: a single
session_started event per launch is sent regardless of your consent choice (once you have answered the consent dialog). Its only property is that choice, but Aptabase's built-in session metadata, including app version and OS, accompanies it. All usage and error events are sent only if you opt in under Settings.
