ResumEase
Parse-first resume editor for software internship applications. Edit structured JSON, compile ATS-safer LaTeX/PDF, and get a checklist of flaws you can write back into the resume, including JD keyword gaps. Built to round-trip with Claude through the same JSON.

- Cloud saves (signed in): same name overwrites, up to 100, removed after 90 days untouched; pin one as the base resume (never expires)
- Tailor guard: JSON loaded in the Claude tab is checked against the pinned base (frozen fields, bullet length, metrics, skills only added, no em dashes); warns, never blocks
- Fit check: a pasted JD is graded A/B/C from resume facts (student-only, grad window, years, clearance, languages, onsite location), kept out of the parse score

Anonymous PDF preview works without Clerk. Saving tailored copies requires auth + Blob.

Architecture (short)
Client holds the resume in Zustand (no silent localStorage). Templates generate LaTeX server-side in /api/compile. Parse analysis runs in the browser against the JSON (and optional PDF text extract). Cloud resumes live in private Vercel Blob under the Clerk user id.
