Ship a real website with one sentence to your coding agent — and every site gets a little backend for free.
Hosting a static website is a solved problem. The thing nobody made simple is the little bit of backend almost every site quietly needs.README 전문 보기 ↗Open ChatGPT Plugins. Click Add, then choose Add custom MCP server. Name it Simple Host, paste https://simple-host.app/mcp, and save. In the sign-in window, sign in with Google or an email code, then choose Allow. In a chat, pick Simple Host from the + menu, or just ask.
Open Claude, then Settings, then Connectors, then Browse connectors. Search for Simple Host, choose Connect, sign in, then choose Allow. It works on web, desktop, and phone. Claude also lists a Simple Host plugin (Customize → Plugins → Discover) that adds the connector and skills in one step.
Ask your AI app for a website, and it goes live at its own address, https://<site>.<handle>.simple-host.app/, with a place to save things (RSVPs, votes, sign-ups).
llms.txt · OpenAPI spec · API docs · Get started in your AI appThe landing page opens with a 25-second film, narrated by the owner, that plays with sound when you click it: add Simple Host to your AI, ask for a site, share the link. Simple Host’s app pages share one blue ink theme, with local fonts, readable body text, and one system light/dark setting. Your published pages keep their own styles. Small-box installs get this shared presentation in their next release.
Connect Simple Host to your own AI app once, then ask it to build and publish a site. Simple Host hosts and manages the result.

Hackathons, now for everyone. Anyone can build with AI: describe your idea and your AI builds the team site. The best idea wins, not the best coder. Organisers create an event and share one link. College students, product managers, leaders and people who aren’t programmers can take part.
Get started with Simple Hack walks through adding
https://simple-hack.app/mcp to ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, GitHub Copilot or a coding agent.
Sign in once in the browser window with Google or an email code, then choose Allow.
The page has copyable organiser, participant and judge prompts, a short FAQ, and
its existing downloads and skill files under collapsed “Other ways to install”.
For Claude Code and Codex, install the five Hack skills (Node.js required), then add the OAuth connector in your agent:
npx -y skills add https://github.com/vineetu/simple-host/tree/main/hack-toolkit --global --agent codex claude-code --yes

On a company's Kubernetes cluster, run Simple Host Enterprise instead; https://simple-host.app/costs estimates what it costs there (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
docker run -d --name simple-host-postgres -p 5432:5432 -e POSTGRES_USER=simplehost -e POSTGRES_PASSWORD=simplehost -e POSTGRES_DB=simplehost postgres:16-alpine
docker exec -i simple-host-postgres psql -U simplehost -d simplehost < db/schema.sql
DB_DSN='postgres://simplehost:simplehost@localhost:5432/simplehost?sslmode=disable' DATA_DIR=./data/sites SITE_DOMAIN=localhost:8090 PUBLIC_BASE_URL=http://localhost:8090 ADMIN_API_KEY=$(openssl rand -hex 32) go run ./cmd/server
Open http://localhost:8090 and sign in with that ADMIN_API_KEY (the admin key). Production build:
GOOS=linux GOARCH=amd64 CGO_ENABLED=0 go build -o ./simple-host ./cmd/server
DB_DSN and ADMIN_API_KEY are required; everything else has a default. The setup helper at
https://simple-host.app/setup?product=small-box writes the install command and .env for a small
box. Its questions, client-side validation, generated settings and install commands run in your
browser. It never asks for a password or key and sends none of your choices to a model. Every setting, by area with recipes (stricter sign-in,
shorter retention, a small hackathon box): docs/advanced/. The full

Authenticated routes take X-API-Key: <key>. JSON in, JSON out. The full contract is openapi.yaml; a readable version is docs.html.
