You write every agent, skill and rule once in core/. A small compiler turns them into each CLI's native format. The installer links the results into place. All three CLIs get the same team of 33 agents (32 specialists and one orchestrator) and the same short working rules. In Claude Code only five core agents and the swarm orchestration pack load globally; other domain specialists come as opt-in per-project packs, so a default session costs little more than stock.
explore for wide read-only searches; security-auditor, code-proofreader or release-tester as an independent review after large changes. Domain specialists say in their descriptions when to use them.lead-dev-hybrid is the optional orchestrator for big multi-specialist jobs (claude --agent lead-dev-hybrid, agy --agent lead-dev-hybrid, or the default primary agent in OpenCode). It plans, gets approval, then spreads file-disjoint implementation in parallel across workers (agy-task and opencode-task from Claude Code, agy-task only from OpenCode, none from Antigravity); otherwise it dispatches specialist subagents.| Claude Code | OpenCode | Antigravity | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Specialists | Core subagents in ~/.claude/agents/, packs in <project>/.claude/agents/ | Agents in ~/.config/opencode/agents/ | Agents in the swarmkit plugin (invoke_subagent) |

Each agent has a tier (fast, standard, deep). The model for each tier is set once per CLI in scripts/build.py:
| Tier | Claude Code | OpenCode | Used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| fast | haiku | opencode-go/muse-spark-1.3-contributor | explore, junior-dev, git-specialist, release-tester, showroom-asset-processor, test-writer, seo-worker |
| standard | sonnet | opencode-go/glm-5.3-flash | most specialists, lead-dev-hybrid |
| deep | opus | opencode-go/mimo-v2.6-pro | db-specialist, security-auditor |
Some standard-tier agents override the OpenCode model to save usage: mimo-v2.6-flash (builders, mobile, n8n, ops, proofreader, blender) and deepseek-v4.1-flash (seo, linkedin, showroom coordination/intake, monitoring).
Antigravity plugin agents have no per-agent model; subagents run on the agy session's model.
lead-dev-hybrid runs heavy, multi-file changes in .worktrees/<branch> (via git-specialist), and your main branch stays clean until you merge.ponytail skills add lite, full and ultra modes on demand.caveman, caveman-commit, caveman-review, caveman-compress and caveman-help. MIT skills vendored from JuliusBrussee/caveman v2.7.0 (2fd153c). caveman-compress needs the claude CLI or ANTHROPIC_API_KEY.--mcp). Playwright, Chrome DevTools, Firecrawl, Blender, Google Trends, shadcn, 21st.dev, Gemini, and the Cloudflare suite. Versions are pinned (no @latest), so a package can't change under you; bump them deliberately./ponytail-review, /ponytail-audit, /ponytail-debt, /ponytail-help, and /ponytail lite|full|ultra|off. In Claude Code, --claude installs the five quality and review agents below and the release-testing, security-review, diagnosing-bugs, caveman*, ponytail* and curated-resources skills (the last three groups are slash-command only, so they cost no context). In the hybrid profile (see Profiles) it also installs the swarm orchestration pack (lead-dev-hybrid, swarm-architect, junior-dev, git-specialist) and the swarm-handoff, git-workflow, writing-for-agents and hybrid-delegate skills globally; slim installs leave them out (--pack swarm per project still adds them). Everything else is a pack you link into a project with ./install.sh --pack <name> [project]:
| Pack | Agents | Skills |
|---|---|---|
web | frontend, animation, seo-specialist, seo-worker, lovable | frontend-quality, premium-frontend-system, seo-engineering, seo-sharing-pass, web-design-guidelines, scroll-craft |
backend | backend, db | backend-quality |
ops | devops, docker, server, monitoring | |
mobile | android-capacitor, ios-capacitor, electron | capacitor-mobile-quality |
n8n | n8n-workflow-builder, n8n-debugger | n8n-api, n8n-debugging |
creative | blender, showroom + 5 workers, linkedin | showroom, img2threejs |
swarm | swarm-architect, lead-dev-hybrid, junior-dev, git-specialist | swarm-handoff, git-workflow, writing-for-agents, hybrid-delegate (global) |
OpenCode and Antigravity get every agent and skill globally.
The guards are a speed bump, not a sandbox. In Claude Code, guard.py blocks obvious writes (redirections, rm, sed -i, --fix), fetch-and-run commands (npx <package>, npm install <package>, pnpm dlx) and, for test-writer, edits outside test files (never a manifest such as package.json or Makefile) or outside the project. npm, pnpm, yarn and bun may only install, test, or run a script that exists in package.json. A guard error blocks the call. A test runner can still run any code in your project (a test-writer can write a test that does, then run it), and git-specialist keeps an unrestricted shell. Antigravity only gets a line of instructions. OpenCode's permission: blocks match edit paths and command prefixes but have none of the runner rules above (its test-writer shell is unrestricted).

git clone https://github.com/Ha-Lun/swarmkit.git
cd swarmkit
./install.sh --mcp --alias # installs the CLIs it finds; --mcp and --alias are opt-in
The installer symlinks everything into each CLI's config directory. The agents and command directories are real directories holding one link per file, so files you add there are left alone (a name you already use is skipped and reported). Anything it replaces is first backed up to ~/.opencode-backup-<timestamp>/. You can run it again safely; a second run changes nothing.
| Flag | Description |
|---|---|
--claude | Install the Claude Code config (rules, core agents, hooks, core skills) plus the swarm pack orchestrators and coordination agents/skills globally. Removes the old plan-gate.py hook entry from ~/.claude/settings.json if present |
--pack <name> [project] | Link a Claude Code pack's agents and skills into <project>/.claude/ (default: current dir) and list the links in the repo's .git/info/exclude. Packs: web, backend, ops, mobile, n8n, creative, swarm. With --uninstall, removes that pack from the project |
--opencode | Install the OpenCode config (rules, agents, commands, skills, opencode.jsonc) |
--agy | Install the Antigravity config (swarmkit plugin, skills) and agyw |
--all | --claude, --opencode and --agy |
| (no flag) | Install the CLIs found on PATH and pick a profile (below); exits with a hint when none is found |
--alias | Hybrid profile only: add alias claude='claude --agent lead-dev-hybrid' (and the same for agy) to ~/.bashrc, and ~/.zshrc if it exists, inside a marked block. Off by default: a terminal run asks once, other runs skip it. --slim and --uninstall remove the block; command claude bypasses the alias |
--hybrid / --slim | Override the profile that detection picked |
--mcp | Install the MCP servers from core/mcp.json (Claude Code, Antigravity, OpenCode). Off by default: a terminal run asks once, other runs skip them. Without it OpenCode gets a copy of opencode.jsonc without its mcp block instead of the link, and servers already registered are never removed |
--n8n | Configure self-hosted n8n credentials (not included in --all) |
With no flag the installer looks for claude, opencode and agy and ends with a summary of what it found, the profile it chose and the command to run.
opencode is found or both claude and agy are: installs the lead-dev-hybrid orchestrator and its coordination agents and skills. Run claude --agent lead-dev-hybrid (OpenCode already uses it as the default agent). Workers are opencode-task and agy-task, for the CLIs found. With --alias plain claude / agy start it too.claude or only agy is found: no orchestrator, the main agent works directly. Add it later with ./install.sh --hybrid; a slim run removes the orchestrator links an earlier hybrid install made.cd swarmkit
git pull
./install.sh --mcp --alias # same flags as your first install
Always rerun the installer after pulling. It relinks moved files and removes links left over from older layouts. With per-file links a new agent only appears after the rerun. MCP servers that are already registered are skipped, so an existing install keeps its old registrations: to adopt the pinned versions, claude mcp remove <name> -s user and rerun. Rerunning without --mcp replaces OpenCode's opencode.jsonc link with a copy without MCP servers.

A file at core/agents/claude/<name>.md or core/agents/opencode/<name>.md replaces that agent's body in that CLI's build only (used by lead-dev-hybrid).
After editing anything in core/ or a rules.md addendum:

Commit the sources and the generated files together. Never edit the generated agents/, claude/packs/, CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md or plugins/swarmkit/ directly.
python3 bench/run.py checks the whole config offline and for free: build in sync, the same roster in every CLI, delegation wording, foreign tool names, guard hook behaviour, and each CLI's native validator. Add --live claude|agy|opencode --yes to send real prompts and score which specialist each CLI actually dispatches, and (Claude) whether it enters plan mode first for large work. See bench/README.md.
SwarmKit supports orchestrating external workflows securely using n8n. We use this heavily for external AI pipelines without exposing API endpoints directly in your project.
To link your own self-hosted n8n securely:
./install.sh --n8n🔒 Privacy & Security Guarantee:
~/.config/swarmkit/n8n.env (or your shell profile) making them accessible only to the running agent on your local machine.Claude Code is meant to run on Opus for the thinking and hand the implementation to headless workers on their own quota. After a plan is approved, the delegate-implementation skill splits it into self-contained tasks (one per group of files), picks a worker, then reviews, tests and merges each branch. Small edits, context-heavy work and security-sensitive code stay with Claude.
Both workers are the same script (scripts/agy-task; opencode-task is a symlink to it) with the same commands (start, resume, list, clean), result.json and --review. Each task runs on its own git worktree and branch <cli>/<slug>, and at most 3 run at once across both. Claude Code starts workers on both lanes; OpenCode may start agy workers but never opencode workers; Antigravity starts none. OpenCode doesn't get the hybrid-delegate and opencode-delegate skills, and Antigravity gets none of the four delegation skills (hybrid-delegate, opencode-delegate, agy-delegate, delegate-implementation). SWARMKIT_ALLOW_WORKERS=1 allows a manual start from a terminal.
Workers may only use the allowlisted models in scripts/agy-task (BACKENDS 'allowed'); use the lane default unless the owner names a model (also with --agent on the opencode lane unless the agent pins an allowlisted opencode.model), and never add a model without the owner's OK. Cross-review runs on the other lane's default model (agy reviews opencode-written branches, opencode-task reviews agy-written ones; no --model flag). Jobs that only run a script and report go to background Bash or a Haiku subagent, not Sonnet. opencode-task start <slug> --agent <specialist> runs the worker as a named OpenCode specialist (frontend, animation, backend...) on the same lane model and sandbox, so specialist work that can be handed off cold goes to a worker; agy-task start <slug> --agent <specialist> does the same on the agy lane with file tools only. Every agy run except --yolo, plain or --agent, gets a PreToolUse hook in the worktree (scripts/agy-gate.py, never committed): reads and edits inside the worktree only (never .git or .agents), on plain runs also read-only commands (git diff, ls, cat; no test runner, which would run worker-written code), and no MCP, browser or paths outside it. A run whose hook did not fire is NOT ok (gate hook inactive).
| Worker | Runs | Can run tests? | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
agy-task | agy -p, Gemini on agy's quota, Gemini 3.8 Flash only (allowlist) | No: edit-only, Claude runs the tests | agy-delegate skill. --yolo allows shell, unsandboxed |
opencode-task | opencode run --standalone, allowlisted opencode-go models (default muse-spark-1.3-contributor; OpenCode Go subscription) | Yes: shell limited to test/build runners and read-only git, a guard against accidents rather than a sandbox | opencode-delegate skill. A per-run config overlay; your own OpenCode config is untouched |
agy-task start diff-review "Review the auth refactor for regressions" --review
opencode-task start api-retry "Add retry to fetchJson in src/api.js ... verify with: npm test" --setup "ln -s $PWD/node_modules node_modules"
Workers see only committed state and get no network for installs (use --setup). ok in result.json is recomputed by the wrapper (agy reports success even when blocked), and files that change in your main checkout during a run are listed as a warning (a worker that wrote outside its worktree, or your own edits meanwhile). Never merge a branch you haven't reviewed.
Running alongside your own OpenCode. Delegated runs set their config through an environment variable for that one process, so your interactive OpenCode keeps its own agents, rules and permissions. They share your account's quota and rate limits, your login, and the session history (titled delegate: <slug>).
agyw is installed automatically as part of --agy or --all. It lets you switch between multiple Google accounts in agy without logging out.
agyw manages isolated profiles stored in ~/.agyw/profiles/. Each profile has its own copy of OAuth credentials and private config. Switching profiles swaps a single symlink (~/.gemini/antigravity-cli/) to point at a different profile directory — so the next agy command runs as a completely different account with zero re-login required (as long as you've already authenticated that profile once).
Already have SwarmKit installed? Run these two commands directly — no need to re-run the full installer:
npm install -g [email protected] && agyw init
agyw add work # Create a new profile (clears auth for fresh login)
agy auth login # Log in with your work Google account
agyw switch default # Switch back to your personal account
agyw list # List all profiles
agyw status # Check active profile + symlink health
Important: Quit any running
agyor Antigravity IDE processes before switching profiles.
