Editions — Lite vs Pro
This repository is MHM Rentiva (Lite) — the free edition published on WordPress.org. It is a complete rental system, not a trial: everything in the Lite column below works in full, with no vehicle, booking or listing caps, no feature timers and no locked screens. Nothing in Lite is withheld or limited to promote Pro, and Lite never advertises Pro inside your WordPress admin.
MHM Rentiva Pro is a separate paid add-on plugin installed alongside Lite. It does not replace Lite — it adds the marketplace, transfer and compliance layer on top of it.

Installation
Step 1: Install the plugin
MHM Rentiva is published on the WordPress.org plugin directory, so the usual route is the
one WordPress offers itself:
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New
- Search for MHM Rentiva, then click Install Now
- Click Activate

To install a specific build instead — a release from this repository, or a version you built
yourself — upload it by hand:
- Download the ZIP from this repository's Releases page
- Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, and click Install Now

WooCommerce is required and is checked on activation: the plugin will not activate without it.
Step 2: Initial Setup

Authentication (Auth)
Requests carry the standard WordPress REST nonce (X-WP-Nonce, action wp_rest), which the plugin's own pages print; the availability routes verify it through AuthHelper::verifyAuth().
In Lite there are no API keys or third-party tokens; the REST API serves the plugin's own screens.
Rate Limiting
The availability endpoints are limited per IP by RateLimiter — 60 requests per minute by default.
Key Endpoints
GET|POST /availability — Is a vehicle free for the given dates (status, price, currency).GET|POST /availability/with-alternatives — The same check, with alternative vehicles when the requested one is taken.GET /vehicles/{id}/blocked-dates — Dates a vehicle cannot be booked.
None of these needs a login. The two availability routes require a valid X-WP-Nonce; blocked-dates needs none.
The remaining routes under this namespace back the admin screens (dashboard, customers, contact messages, shortcode pages, about) and require an administrator-level capability (manage_options; customers: edit_users / delete_users). Rentiva Pro adds its own routes (locations, vendor and customer-account features).
