A local-first project that helps you decide when to run energy-hungry appliances by tracking grid carbon intensity for your region.
• /status endpoint with current intensity, a run/wait recommendation and the
firmware's uptime in seconds.
• /em/window endpoint with recent history.
• /em/window-overlay endpoint with week-shifted overlay data used for recommendations.
• Web dashboard (web/static/*) with trend chart, LED meter, and auto refresh controls.
• Firmware path for Pico W + e-ink display.
• Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W
• Waveshare WS-19588 tri-color e-paper display module查看完整 README ↗A local-first project that helps you decide when to run energy-hungry appliances by tracking grid carbon intensity for your region.

Install dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt
Run mock Pico:
python -m mock.mock_pico
Run dashboard server:
python -m web.server

make setup # .venv, runtime and dev dependencies, pre-commit hook
make run # serves the dashboard and the grid poller
Flashing the Pico W is covered in docs/firmware.md.
make help lists them. Every repository in this estate exposes the same eight
verbs, so you do not have to read a Makefile to find out how to build or run it
(FC-GEN-057).
| Verb | What it does here |
|---|---|
setup | .venv + runtime and dev dependencies + the pre-commit hook |
install | Runtime dependencies into whatever interpreter is active |
build | docker build — the dashboard image |
run | ./start.sh — mock Pico and dashboard together |
test | pytest |
lint | pre-commit run --all-files — the whole gate |
format | ruff format . |
analyze | trivy fs — vulnerabilities, misconfig, secrets |
All eight are wired here, so there is nothing under "Not applicable". The image packages the dashboard only: the mock Pico is a development aid and the firmware runs on-device under MicroPython.
