Epics & Epochs — Character Generator & Tracker
The official character generator for Epics & Epochs (E&E), the tabletop roleplaying game from Gamer's Pair O' Dice — one system for every genre, from swords to starships, powered by the Six Scales.
▶ Use it here: open the site this repository serves (see the About panel / Pages link) — no download, no install. It runs entirely in your browser, and your characters are saved privately in your own browser's storage on your own device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
What it does

Back up your heroes — please read this one section
Your characters live in this browser on this device. They are never uploaded anywhere — which also means clearing cookies / site data deletes them, and private/incognito windows never keep them at all.
- ⬇ Export after every session. The exported file is the one true backup — it imports on any browser, any device.
- Watch the 💾 chip under the title banner: green means recently backed up; amber and red mean your heroes are living dangerously. One click on the chip exports the roster.
- On phones, Export opens your share sheet — message the file to yourself or your GM and the backup lives in the chat thread.
- iPhone Safari players: add this page to your Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen). iOS can quietly clean up storage for websites it hasn't seen in a week; home-screen apps get better treatment.
- Table protocol we recommend: at session end, every player exports; the GM imports the party into their own roster. The GM has always been the keeper of the table's reality — now it's official.
Tips
- Bookmark the site and use it in a normal browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari). File-preview windows (e.g., inside cloud-storage apps) may block the generator from running or saving.
- Moving to a new device or browser? Export your characters, then import them on the other side.

New versions are published here directly — just refresh the page. The version number appears under the title banner.
