PixlPrfct Icons

Free, open-source interface icons in Light, Regular, and Bold, licensed under MIT. The library contains 679 icons for rich-text editing, forms, navigation, files, media, commerce, charts, developer tools, business, field work, and the PixlPrfct editor. All original icon names and codepoints remain stable.

The pixlprfct brand symbol is Unbound: a flowing, open ribbon suggesting a P. It uses a consistent filled silhouette across all three font weights. Use pxi-pixlprfct; the gallery favicon uses the same symbol.

Browse and download the icons

The territory-track brand symbol is a monochrome adaptation of Territory Track’s broad map-pin mark. Like pixlprfct, it keeps its filled silhouette across all three weights. Use pxi-territory-track.

The 0.5.0 additions are original PixlPrfct drawings of 24 business and utility symbols plus the Territory Track brand mark; no Phosphor artwork is included.

File types

Version 0.6.0 added 55 file icons. Version 0.7.0 adds eight more file families for subtitles, notebooks, configuration, certificates, maps/GPS, disk images, shortcuts, and ebooks. The file family covers the common design, image, document, data, code, media, font, archive, and application formats below. Search by extension (for example docx, heic, or woff2) to find its icon. Format icons describe assets; application import support is defined by each app. file-pdf remains available for PDF, and file-code covers other source languages.

Rich-text editors

Version 0.8.0 adds 74 original RTE symbols and tags the existing RTE set for discovery. Search rte or rich text in the gallery or editor library to find all 169 tagged icons. These are reusable icon assets; adding them does not implement editing commands in consuming applications. Each name below works as pxi-<name> in the font or as the corresponding SVG export, in Light, Regular, and Bold.

image-wrap-left places the image on the left with text on its right; image-wrap-right does the reverse. table-column-before and table-column-after depict insertion to the left and right, respectively. Use text-paragraph for the pilcrow/show-formatting-marks control. Generic actions such as close, confirm, settings, and more remain available in the wider library.

Use the font

Download the font package from the gallery and keep the css and fonts folders together. No npm publication is available yet.

Use font-size and color to style an icon. Include visible text or an accessible label on its containing button; decorative icons should be hidden from screen readers. The icon font uses private-use codepoints, not text characters.

Each weight has WOFF2 for the web and TTF for design software. Weights are actual outlined glyphs, not synthetic bolding. The gallery can also download individual SVGs in all three weights.

Develop

icons.json is the canonical source: each name has an SVG path on a 24×24 grid and a permanent private-use codepoint. Never reassign an existing codepoint, even if an icon is retired. Append new codepoints when adding icons.

Build output includes three TTFs, three WOFF2s and css/icons.css. The site build creates _site, including a ZIP of the complete font package. npm pack can build a local npm archive; this repository does not automatically publish to npm.

Contribute

Use a branch and pull request. Keep icon names stable, use rounded stroke caps/joins, and check each icon in all three weights. Run the build and tests before submitting. See CONTRIBUTING.md.

Territory Track coverage (0.9.0)

The package includes original PixlPrfct counterparts for Territory Track's named web icons, selectable avatars, dashboard and assistant icon registries, iOS app, widgets, and App Shortcuts. territory-track.json records each source name, its PixlPrfct target, and source locations. Search by the original web or SF Symbol name in the gallery or editor. All targets are available in Light, Regular, and Bold.

This is semantic coverage, not a pixel-identical copy of Phosphor or SF Symbols. SF .fill variants resolve to the same symbol in the selected PixlPrfct weight. Existing names, paths and codepoints are preserved. Territory Track's application renderers are not changed by installing this package. Arbitrary user-supplied imagery and unnamed illustrations are outside this icon inventory.

The brand symbols are monochrome adaptations identifying the corresponding services. Their trademarks belong to their respective owners; inclusion does not imply affiliation or endorsement. No Phosphor or Apple SF Symbols artwork is redistributed.

New source references fail this check until they receive an explicit mapping. The icon-package tests verify every recorded target, searchable alias, CSS class and generated font glyph.
