Agents that can run commands install it directly (instructions for agents:
install.md). Chat apps can't add plugins
themselves, so they walk you through the steps below. In Claude you can also skip the download:
Customize > Plugins > + Add > Add marketplace, enter manansuneja/skills, and add PM OS.

Download the PM OS plugin (.zip)
and add it to your AI. One file works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and VS Code, and it takes about a
minute. See the step-by-step guide.
- Claude (desktop app or claude.ai):
Customize > Plugins > + Add > Upload plugin, then pick
pm-os-plugin.zip.
- ChatGPT (desktop app):
Customize > Plugins > Add > Upload plugin archive, then pick
pm-os-plugin.zip.
- Cursor: unzip it, move the
pm-os-plugin folder into ~/.cursor/plugins/local/, then run
Developer: Reload Window. Or run
npx skills@latest add manansuneja/skills --skill pm-os -g -a cursor.
- VS Code (GitHub Copilot): unzip it, then add
"chat.plugins.enabled": true and
"chat.pluginLocations": { "/path/to/pm-os-plugin": true } to your user settings.json and
reload. Or run npx skills@latest add manansuneja/skills --skill pm-os -g -a github-copilot.
- Then say: "Set up a PM OS for my product." For the full workspace, use the Claude desktop app,
start a Cowork task, and pick an empty folder.
For Claude and ChatGPT, upload the .zip file itself. Safari unzips downloads automatically:
turn off Safari > Settings > General > Open "safe" files after downloading before downloading, or
use another browser. Don't re-zip the folder with Compress; macOS adds a hidden __MACOSX folder
that both apps reject.
ChatGPT and Codex plugin pilot
PM OS is being tested as the first one-click plugin
release. The public directory listing is not live yet; the existing GitHub, npx, Claude, and manual
installation paths below remain supported.
For local ChatGPT/Codex testing, clone this repository, generate the package, then register the repo
marketplace:

codex plugin marketplace add .
The portable Agent Plugins 1.0 package is generated at
dist/plugins/portable/pm-os; the ChatGPT/Codex test package is generated at
dist/plugins/openai/pm-os. Both contain the same digest-locked skill payload. Generated
packages are disposable and are never committed.
Install
Install one skill globally so it is available in every project:
npx skills@latest add manansuneja/skills --skill workflow-create -g
npx skills@latest add manansuneja/skills --skill pm-os -g
npx skills@latest add manansuneja/skills --skill workspace-os-setup -g
Or list everything available:
npx skills@latest add manansuneja/skills --list
If npx is not recognized, install Node.js and try again.
Using Claude Code too? Add -a claude-code to the install command so the skill is installed or
linked under Claude Code's .claude/skills location. For example:
npx skills@latest add manansuneja/skills --skill pm-os -g -a claude-code
To install every published skill in this catalog into Claude Code:
npx skills@latest add manansuneja/skills --skill '*' -g -a claude-code

In Claude, go to Customize > Skills, choose + Create skill, upload the folder, and turn the skill on.
Catalog Rules
Every public skill in this repo must be listed in the root README, its category README, .claude-plugin/plugin.json, and skills.sh.json.
Every public skill README must include the exact install command and a bottom section named What This Skill Does And How To Use It.
Local plans, tests, announcements, and unpublished skills live outside this public repo in the surrounding skills-to-publish workspace.
