uMshado uses Row-Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure production-grade access control.
supabase/rls.sqlrowsecurity = trueAfter applying policies, test the following:
Couple Flow:
/couple/onboarding/debug/whoami - confirm your couple data appearsVendor Flow:
/vendor/services/vendor/packagesSecurity Check:
If you encounter permission errors, check the Supabase logs and verify the policies match your table schema.
Run these SQL files in your Supabase SQL Editor in this order:
migrations/001_profiles_couples_vendors.sql (creates base tables)supabase-services-schema.sql (creates services and vendor_services tables)supabase/rls.sql (enables security on all tables)supabase/rls-marketplace-update.sql (allows marketplace browsing - IMPORTANT!)supabase/marketplace.sql (creates marketplace_vendors view)supabase/quotes.sql (creates quotes, conversations, messages tables)supabase/storage.sql (creates umshado-files bucket + policies for file uploads)supabase/attachments.sql (creates message_attachments + quote_attachments tables)supabase/seed-data.sql (adds sample vendors, services, and packages for testing)Important: Step 4 (rls-marketplace-update.sql) is critical - it updates the RLS policies to allow authenticated users to browse all vendors, not just their own profile. Without this, the marketplace will show no vendors!
uMshado features a real-time marketplace with intelligent vendor ranking and filtering.
supabase/marketplace.sqlmarketplace_vendors viewSELECT * FROM marketplace_vendors LIMIT 5;To test the marketplace, you need sample vendors and packages:
supabase/seed-data.sqlSELECT * FROM marketplace_vendors; - should show 3 vendors with aggregated dataSee MARKETPLACE_TESTING.md for comprehensive testing checklist.
Quick Test:
npm run devTest Data Requirements:
