tools/opera-relay/ the Cloudflare Worker that relays OPERA radar files (see below)
sw.js, manifest.webmanifest, icons/ home-screen app
Any static file server works. On Windows, .claude/static-server.ps1 serves the
site at http://127.0.0.1:5510/ and includes a stand-in for the OPERA relay.
EUMETNET OPERA's European radar files are public but can't be read by browsers
directly (no CORS). tools/opera-relay/worker.js is a tiny read-only Cloudflare
Worker that forwards just those files:
cd tools/opera-relay
npx wrangler login
npx wrangler deploy
Then set RELAY_URL in js/opera.js to the Worker's URL (ending in /).
GitHub Pages serves the main branch at the domain in CNAME.
Settings > Feedback opens a form (js/feedback.js) for bug reports and ideas, with an
optional screenshot. No account is needed. tools/feedback-worker/ is a Cloudflare
Worker that files each report as an issue in the private repo
tukotukomi/blue-marble-feedback (screenshots are stored there too), with the build,
device and screen attached. Its GitHub token (Issues and Contents, that repo only)
is a Worker secret:
cd tools/feedback-worker
npx wrangler secret put GITHUB_TOKEN
npx wrangler deploy
The start screen shows the version and build (js/version.js). A git hook
stamps the build number (the commit count) and date on every commit; turn it
on once per clone with:
git config core.hooksPath tools/git-hooks
Change VERSION in js/version.js by hand for bigger releases.
