Brussels Governance Monitor is a civic tech project that tracks governance in the Brussels-Capital Region. It provides structured, sourced, and multilingual information across 13 policy domains, 19 municipalities, and 16 active dossiers.

Why is the code public?

Transparency is central to the project's mission. Publishing the source code allows anyone to:

• Verify that the data and methodology are sound
• Audit that no political bias is embedded in the code
• Report factual errors via issues

What you can do

• Read and audit the code
• Report factual errors or broken sources
• Suggest corrections via issues (not pull requests)

What you cannot do

• Copy, fork, or redistribute the code or content
• Deploy or host any version of this software
• Use the code or content to train AI models
• Create derivative works
