Cenzio

Cenzio is an expense tracker for iPhone. Add an expense in a few taps or by voice, see where this month's money went, and keep your budget in view. Your records stay on your devices and in your own private iCloud.

What you can do

• See the essentials at a glance. The Dashboard shows this month's spending, your budget, categories and upcoming recurring bills.
• Record and find expenses. Add expenses by hand or by voice, then search and filter them by date and category. Deleted expenses can be restored.
• Plan ahead. Set category budgets and spending goals, enter your monthly income, and track recurring bills.
• Make it yours. Create your own categories, choose a currency, and import or export your records.
• Check from your Home Screen. Widgets show your spending, and supported iPhones offer a quick Add Expense control.

The app has four tabs: Dashboard, Expenses, Recurring and Settings.

Sign in and sync

Cenzio asks you to Sign in with Apple when it opens. Your records are saved on the iPhone and synced automatically through iCloud to your other devices signed in to the same iCloud account. Sync is always on, runs quietly in the background and uses your private iCloud database. The developer cannot read it.

Add an expense by voice

Tap the microphone next to the + button on the Dashboard or Expenses tab. Speech is transcribed on the iPhone; audio is never uploaded. With your permission, the recognized text, your category names, currency and date are sent to an AI service, which prepares an expense for you to review. Nothing is saved until you tap Save. Voice entry currently supports English.

Your data

• Export a copy from Settings → Export Data. CSV expenses can be imported again.
• Settings → Clear All Data clears this iPhone only. Copies in your iCloud and on your other devices stay there.
• Remove Cenzio's iCloud data in the Settings app under your name → iCloud → Manage Storage.
