DP Blast is GDG PUP's event photo frame tool. Visitors upload a photo, pick an event frame, preview the composite, then download a profile-ready image. Built for event attendees who want a shareable framed photo without creating an account.

Stack

From package.json / astro.config.mjs:

Photo / PII handling

• Anonymous use. No accounts or auth.
• Photos stay in the browser (IndexedDB with a sessionStorage fallback, plus canvas) for the customize and download flow. One photo is retained per tab; records expire from restoration after 24 hours and old IndexedDB records are removed on a subsequent upload. Clearing site data removes stored photos.
• Download analytics may record event slug, frame id, path, and user-agent in Supabase. Photos are not uploaded for analytics.

Remaining work is hardening (rate limits, abuse controls) and a formal release checklist with broader cross-device QA. Chromium acceptance checks now cover the editor, storage, keyboard behavior, and themes. Prefer reading shipped routes under src/pages/ over stale phase checkboxes.
