Neight (pronounced N8) is a lightweight text editor for writers who work in Tamil and English on Windows and macOS. It handles mixed-language drafting, Markdown, and distraction-free writing without the weight of a full IDE or word processor.
Neight does not use any AI models or send telemetry. It makes no automatic
network calls at all — it never checks for updates or contacts any server on
its own. Every network request happens because you clicked something.
Nothing else to install — no runtime, no framework, no admin rights for the
