An experiment in AI-assisted music software development — built from a smartphone.
This project started as a personal experiment: How far can I get building a real application using only a smartphone, Claude, and free tools?
The result is a browser-based DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that runs directly in the browser and is published via GitHub Pages. The goal is not only to build a useful music tool, but also to explore what modern web technologies and AI-assisted development can achieve without a traditional development environment.
Another important goal is to push the current boundaries of audio in the browser — from timing, sequencing and sound generation to more advanced features that traditionally required dedicated desktop software.
The project will evolve over time. A backend is planned for features such as saving and sharing beats, patterns and complete songs.
