Player/coach tennis platform: a React + Vite frontend and an Express + Prisma
API, backed by PostgreSQL.
Double-click Start-TennisAI.bat in the project root. It starts Postgres, the
API and the website, waits for each to be genuinely ready, and opens. Stop-TennisAI.bat shuts it all down again.
Accounts you create through the sign-up page are permanent. They live in a
Postgres data directory outside the repo — D:\SQL\data\tennisai by default —
so you can stop, restart, or reboot and log straight back in. Nothing is stored
in a temp folder.檢視完整 README ↗Player/coach tennis platform: a React + Vite frontend and an Express + Prisma API, backed by PostgreSQL.

The launcher applies pending migrations on every boot but deliberately does
not re-seed: seeding upserts the demo accounts and would overwrite changes
you made yourself (a password, for instance). Restore demo data on purpose with
cd server && npm run prisma:seed.
This is a two-server app — both need to be running, in separate terminals:
# Backend — http://localhost:4000
cd server
npm install
cp .env.example .env # then point DATABASE_URL at a reachable Postgres
npm run db:setup # applies Prisma migrations + seeds demo users
npm run dev
# Frontend — http://localhost:5180 (proxies /api → :4000)
npm install --legacy-peer-deps
npm run dev
Demo logins (seeded): [email protected] / [email protected] / [email protected] /
[email protected], password password123 for all.
Node 20.x is expected (see .nvmrc / engines in package.json).

Quick fixes (in order of escalation):
Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R.# Stop with Ctrl+C, then:
npm run dev
rm -rf node_modules/.vite
npm run dev
rm -rf node_modules/.vite node_modules/.cache
npm ci
npm run dev
Working inside Lovable? Just ask the agent to "restart the dev server" — it has a dedicated tool for it and no manual cache clearing is required.
