Station-level air exposure severity index for India using CPCB data

AERSI is a station-level, daily-updating air quality severity index for India. It complements standard AQI — which reports a single day's conditions — by combining WHO-normalized pollution load, 30-day exposure persistence, and day-to-day volatility into one composite severity score across CPCB monitoring stations nationwide. AERSI is live at aersi.live.Read the full README ↗AERSI is a station-level, daily-updating air quality severity index for India. Pollutant weights (PM2.5 0.40, PM10 0.20, NO2 0.15, Ozone 0.15, SO2 0.10) are derived from India-specific attributable DALYs in the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019 for PM2.5 and ozone, with the remaining pollutants estimated from global comparative-risk literature and renormalized.
