# Install dependencies
npm install
# Run development server
npm run dev
Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser.
Create a .env.local file for APIs that require keys:
ABUSECH_AUTH_KEY=your_key # Free at https://auth.abuse.ch — used by ThreatFox, URLhaus, MalwareBazaar
ABUSEIPDB_API_KEY=your_key # Free at https://www.abuseipdb.com — 1,000 requests/day
Most features work without API keys. Panels that require them show setup instructions.
NVD_API_KEY=your_key # Free at https://nvd.nist.gov/developers/request-an-api-key — raises NVD's limit from 5 to 50 requests / 30 s (recommended once the mobile app and cron are live)
The mobile app (see mobile/) receives push notifications from a Vercel Cron job (/api/cron/notify, every 30 min, see vercel.json). It needs:
UPSTASH_REDIS_REST_URL=... # Free at https://upstash.com — stores device tokens and last-seen IDs
UPSTASH_REDIS_REST_TOKEN=... # (KV_REST_API_URL / KV_REST_API_TOKEN, as injected by Vercel's Upstash integration, work too)
CRON_SECRET=... # Any random string; Vercel sends it as `Authorization: Bearer` on cron calls
Without these the push routes respond {skipped: "no redis"} and the website is unaffected.
Notification categories: critical_cve (CVSS ≥ 9.0, immediate), news_digest (batched, at most every 3 h), watchlist (any new CVE mentioning a term the device follows).
/privacy, /terms and /cve/[id] are standalone pages; public/.well-known/ holds the Android/iOS app-link association files for the mobile app.
Deploy to Vercel (recommended):
npm run build
Or use any Node.js hosting platform.
