Everything is written straight to your browser's local storage. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, and there's no account, no server, and no subscription - the extension has no idea any of this data exists once it's on your disk, because it never leaves your machine in the first place.
Supported platforms: Google Meet and Microsoft Teams web in Chrome. Teams call detection and local audio/transcript saving have been checked in a live call. Two-participant audio, mute behavior and video still need live validation.
Ariadne is available on the Chrome Web Store. Open the listing and click Add to Chrome to install it.
For local development, you can also load it as an unpacked extension:
git clone <this-repo-url>
cd ariadne
npm install
npm run build
Then in Chrome:
chrome://extensions.The extension icon will appear in your toolbar. Re-run npm run build and reload the extension from chrome://extensions after pulling any code changes.
Everything Ariadne captures stays on your device, in the browser's own private storage for the extension. There is no backend, no account system, and no network request that sends your meeting content anywhere. You decide what to do with a recording - the History page's download button is the only way any of this data leaves the extension's storage.

npm run test:teams:browser # Chrome integration with a simulated Teams call
Each meeting's captured data lives under its own folder in OPFS; conversions to .mp3/.mp4 happen automatically once a recording finishes.
The Teams browser test needs a current Chrome installation. Set CHROME_BIN if Chrome is installed at a non-default path. It uses an isolated temporary profile and a local fixture under a mocked Teams URL, including the actual extension manifest, MAIN/ISOLATED scripts, recorder, OPFS and packaged FFmpeg. No Microsoft account or live meeting is used. Existing audio/transcript browser scripts require Node.js 22+ for the built-in WebSocket API.
