AI Coding Agent Display

Connect the Thinking Desk display to Claude Code or Codex — task-done notifications, approval pings, and usage on your desk, no dashboard needed.

The installer detects which agent CLIs you have and installs for each. Then restart your agent and say pair my display.

Previously installed vibe-desk-display? It was renamed to thinking-desk — remove the old plugin so the desk hook doesn't fire twice. The installer does this for you; details in software/.

Both integrations support OTP pairing, completion notifications, approval pings, account usage, local builder insights, and automatic LAN reconnect. They share the paired-device configuration, so the same display can work with Claude Code and Codex on one Mac.

Big Files: Git LFS

This repo uses Git LFS for CAD, STL, STEP, PCB, video, and PDF. Install LFS once before you clone or push: see docs/git-lfs.md.

Want to Build One?

1. Read assembly/README.md first
2. Get the parts from bom/
3. Print or order CAD parts from cad/stl/ or cad/step/
4. Build the electronics in electronics/
5. Flash firmware from firmware/
6. Follow the assembly steps

Want to Help?

• Upload your CAD to cad/source/ and export STEP + STL
• Add photos to assembly/photos/
• Open an Issue if something is broken or unclear
