One path. src/engine/path.js flattens everything into a single ordered line of
16 worlds. Each world is: a short narrated film → hands-on practice → the
story lesson → a quiz (must be passed to open the next world) → an Arena
mission. Home shows only the next step; the Map shows the whole line.
Futures only. NQ and Gold (Micros first). Points, ticks and contracts — never shares. The method taught is B.R.E.A.D: levels first, a closed reaction candle second, bodies before wicks.
Two voices. Each device can hold several players (Profiles in
src/engine/game.js), each with their own save and either the kid or the adult
wording of the same lessons (src/engine/voice.js, adult.js, course-new.js).
Saves live in the browser; nothing syncs between devices.
Films. Each film is a spec in films/specs/<id>.mjs — narration beats plus a
scene drawn with the chart kit in films/build.mjs.
node films/build.mjs <id> # narrate (local Kokoro voice) + write films/<id>/index.html
films/check.sh <id> "5,12,20" # HyperFrames checks + a contact sheet at those seconds
films/render.sh <id> # render, install as public/vid/film-<id>.mp4, refresh manifest
📖 Six story arcs taught by Sensei Hoshi the owl, Kitsu the fox, and rival Kazuo:
Each arc = Lesson → Quiz → Dojo Mission, earning XP, ranks (Academy Rookie 🐣 → Legendary Trade Master 🐉 → Mythic Chart Sage 🌌), and badges.
In strategy missions the chart draws the opening-range zone, live fair-value-gap boxes, and yesterday's walls, with three signal lamps (🚪 breakout, 🪜 gap, 🧱 wall) that flash ⚡ CONFLUENCE when all three align. The finale is the Strategy Scientist mission: a 5-day experiment passed by following the method honestly — win or lose — ending with a per-day lab-results scoreboard.
⚔️ The Trading Dojo — a live candlestick simulator where candles form in real time, trading the dojo's two beasts: 🚀 NQ (Nasdaq-100 futures, ~21,500) and 🥇 GC (Gold futures, ~3,350). Prices are generated (no live data feed), but each asset has realistic levels, its own volatility personality, and stop-loss sizes in its own points. Go long or short with virtual Koins, set stop-loss "shields", and complete missions like the Trial of the Shield (every trade protected) and the Calm Mind Challenge (max 3 trades — patience!). The market always closes at the end of the day and force-closes open trades: that's the intraday lesson built into the game.
localStorage). The "Reset all progress" button on
the Profile screen wipes it.The "I don't get it" tutor (api/help.js) and the "explain it back" feedback
(api/feedback.js) call Google's Gemini API free tier through Vercel serverless
functions, so the key is never exposed to the browser. The shared call is in
api/_tutor.js (default model gemini-3.5-flash-lite).
To enable it, create a key at https://aistudio.google.com/apikey and add it in Vercel:
GEMINI_API_KEY = ... (Vercel → Project → Settings → Environment Variables, then redeploy)
Without the key, the game still works — help uses the offline explanations and the typed-question box says plainly that it cannot answer.
React 18 + Vite + Framer Motion. The UI is React components with Framer
Motion animations (screen transitions, spring popups, staggered cards, the
spinning hero select). The framework-agnostic game logic lives in src/engine/
and is reused as ES modules.
