Requires Node 24 and pnpm 12.4.1 — the repository pins both, in .nvmrc and packageManager,
and pnpm check:node-version keeps every other place that names a version agreeing with them.
pnpm install
pnpm dev # http://localhost:3000
Local development and tests use an embedded database and safe fallbacks, so no configuration is
required. When you do need a real credential, .env.manual is the one file to edit — pnpm env:manual creates it and pnpm check:env says what each blank line switches off. .env.local is
generated by pnpm infra:deploy and overwritten on every run. E2E tests use the sandbox/system Chrome and never download a second browser; set
PLAYWRIGHT_CHROMIUM_EXECUTABLE or CHROME_PATH if its location is not auto-detected.
pnpm dev defaults the canonical origin to http://localhost:<port> using the port Next
actually selects, including its automatic fallback when 3000 is occupied. An APP_HOST already
set in the shell or a dotenv file wins; set it explicitly for a custom hostname or HTTPS.
