build_db.py covers items, recipes (synthesis and desynthesis), and every acquisition source the server implements: mob drops and steals, chests and coffers, battlefields, shops, guild shops and rank vendors, regional, conquest and besieged vendors, HELM gathering, chocobo digging, gardening, fishing, clamming, crystals, guild points, and quest rewards.

tools/ is the part worth calling original work.Numbers come from upstream LandSandBoat. Individual servers run forks with their own settings, so anything server-specific (HQ and drop multipliers, which expansions are enabled, skill caps) is flagged in the UI rather than assumed. The server profile picker exists for exactly this reason.
