Explore

• Mandelbrot, Julia, Burning Ship, Tricorn, plus pattern fractals (Sierpinski carpet and triangle, Vicsek, Cantor dust, plus rotated ones like Pinwheel and Spiral carpet)
• Scroll or pinch to zoom, drag to pan, double-click or double-tap to dive in (Shift + double-click zooms out)
• Gradient built from hex colour pickers, inside colour, colour spread and shift, smooth shading
• Iterations rise automatically as you zoom; auto-zoom tour

Create

• Pixel editor from 2×2 to 64×64 with pencil, eraser, fill, colour picker, mirroring, undo/redo
• Hex colour picker with recent colours
• Import an image: it's shrunk to the grid, with a light cut-off and an option to keep its colours
• Rules: filled pixel → whole pattern, filled pixel → tinted copy, or empty pixel → whole pattern
• Rotation per copy (it compounds at every level, so copies spiral), copy size 40–150%, alternate direction in a checkerboard, and gaps either glowing or coloured by depth
• Live preview, saved fractals stay in your browser

Plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, no build step. Run locally with any static server, e.g. python3 -m http.server.
