AI Decision System
Replayable, offline-verifiable records for AI-assisted go/no-go decisions: experiment promotions, typed model answers and human-approved actions.
Describe a task once. Goodboy decides which agent goes next, across Claude, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, OpenCode, OpenRouter and Moonshot, on the plans you already pay for. Free, open source, local.

Goodboy is a free, source-available desktop app for macOS and Linux that
runs coding agents on your work.
You describe a task once. The goal, the decisions and the running summary
belong to the task, not to a provider's chat.
Stop Claude halfway, hand the rest to Codex and come back tomorrow. Nobody
needs briefing again, and it all runs on the plan you already pay for.
Every task you start is a session, and every session sits on one board.Read the full README ↗Screenshot from Goodboy 0.27.1
Goodboy runs coding agents side by side on your own repositories, one session for each goal. It is a desktop app for macOS and Linux.

Every task is a session, and the board shows where each one stands. Six lanes, Building, Running, Needs you, In review, Done and Archived, sit in that order. A session moves to the lane that matches what is happening in it, and the ones that wait for you sit in Needs you.

A workflow splits a task into steps, such as scout, plan, implement and review. Each step is its own agent with its own role, model and effort, and it starts from a short brief. You choose how much it asks you and how much it may spend.

What one agent learns, the next one reads. The goal, decisions and a running summary travel with the session, so a new agent starts informed and nobody tells the story twice.

The Branch page holds one branch: its pull request, review comments, changed files, commits and checks. Check the comments you want and press Fix, and an agent turns them into commits in its own copy of the branch. Nothing leaves your machine until you push. It works on GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket.

Ask about your repos without starting a session. Chat reads every project and never changes a file. When an answer is worth acting on, Start work from chat starts a session from it.

The feature guide lists the main features of each area, with a page per area for the rest. goodboy-ai.dev tells the same story in a minute.
