An evidence-first fact-checking system — paste a claim or a news headline, and NewsChecker decomposes the proposition, retrieves independent evidence from the live web, checks it against the claim with a natural-language-inference (NLI) model, and returns a conservative, evidence-backed verdict. It abstains rather than guesses when the evidence isn't there.
This is a full-stack, three-service application: a React frontend, a Node/Express API gateway, and a Python/FastAPI ML service that owns claim understanding, retrieval, and NLI verification.Read the full README ↗The full README is unavailable right now.
