#1234 in commit messages point at issues and pull
requests in the private repo and will not resolve here.develop or main will need to rebase after one.
Feature work in a fork branched from a release tag is the least exposed.pre-monorepo branch.
Anything that referenced an old SHA still resolves there.develop and main are bot-owned. Nothing is merged into them here. They are updated
from the private repo at each release and otherwise on demand, so develop here is a snapshot
rather than a live branch.vX.Y.Z are published. Release-candidate and nightly tags are not.Open an issue here, using the templates. Accepted reports are recreated in the private tracker for the team to work on. The public issue is linked to that work and closed when the fix reaches this mirror.
Pull requests may be accepted but issues are preferred. Submitted PR would be reviewed here but not merged here. Once accepted, a maintainer imports the commits into the private repo, where they go through the normal CI and review and merge. The change then flows back out with the next sync, with your authorship preserved on the commit. Your pull request is closed, not merged, with a comment naming the commit it landed as.
If you choose to create a Pull Request, please ensure you clarify what unique experience or idea you're bringing to the implementation, if you're just asking an AI agent to fix a bug, we could do that ourselves.
What to expect:
develop branch.imported,
needs-changes (with review comments) or declined (with a reason).See CONTRIBUTING.md for the local development setup and the contribution workflow in full.

| Date | Refs | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-16 | develop, main, v3.01.00, v3.01.01, v3.2.0, v3.02.01, v3.3.00 | The rewriting of commit SHAs quoted in commit messages was made repeatable, so these refs got new SHAs from v3.01.00 onwards. File contents are unchanged, and every tag up to v3.00.01 is untouched. |
| 2026-09-25 | develop, main, all release tags | Cutover to the mirror: develop and main were replaced with filtered history from the private monorepo, so every commit has a new SHA. The previous public history is preserved unchanged on pre-monorepo. |
