First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev
Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
Run fast unit tests:
npm run test
Run integration tests against the local test database:
npm run test:integration
Run Playwright end-to-end smoke tests:
npm run test:e2e
Run local quality checks, excluding browser tests:
npm run check
Run all local quality checks, including browser tests:
npm run check:all
Integration tests require a separate PostgreSQL database named opengym_test.
Create the database with Postgres.app:
/Applications/Postgres.app/Contents/Versions/latest/bin/createdb opengym_test
Create .env.test with a DATABASE_URL that points to opengym_test.
Apply migrations to the test database:
set -a
source .env.test
set +a
npx prisma migrate deploy
The test database is separate from the development database so integration tests can safely create and delete data.
Playwright tests start the Next.js development server automatically and currently cover basic public-page browser flows.
