[!WARNING] CocoaPods Deprecation Notice: CocoaPods registry will become read-only in December 2026. Pendo will stop publishing new SDK versions to CocoaPods. We highly recommend migrating your iOS projects to Swift Package Manager (SPM) as soon as possible. See our CocoaPods to SPM Migration Guide for step-by-step instructions.
[!NOTE] The following integration instructions are relevant for SDK 3.0 or higher. Follow our migration instructions to upgrade from SDK 2.x to 3.0 or refer to our 2.x integration instruction.
For integration using signed metadata see: JWT integration instructions
Prefer to have an AI coding assistant do the integration for you? A skill covering every platform above (native iOS/Android, React Native, Expo, Flutter, MAUI) ships from this repo. This integration is new — please open an issue if you hit problems or have feedback.
Claude Code (no clone needed):
/plugin marketplace add pendo-io/pendo-mobile-sdk
/plugin install pendo-mobile-sdk-tools@pendo-mobile-sdk
Then, from your own app's repo, ask it to install Pendo. If Pendo is already in your app, ask it to check your Pendo integration instead: its doctor mode reports problems by severity and fixes only the ones you pick, on a new branch. To open a Pendo support ticket, ask it for a report for Pendo support: it writes up your app's Pendo setup with keys and user values masked.
For modes, arguments, example prompts and troubleshooting, see the plugin guide.
Keeping it up to date. Claude Code doesn't update plugins from this marketplace automatically unless you turn it on: run /plugin, open Marketplaces, select pendo-mobile-sdk and choose Enable auto-update. To update by hand instead:
claude plugin update pendo-mobile-sdk-tools@pendo-mobile-sdk
Then run /reload-plugins. See what changed in each version.
Cursor / Codex (one-time setup — pulls just the skill, not this whole repo):
git clone --filter=blob:none --no-checkout https://github.com/pendo-io/pendo-mobile-sdk.git
cd pendo-mobile-sdk
git sparse-checkout set plugin
git checkout master
mkdir -p ~/.cursor/skills ~/.agents/skills
# Cursor
ln -s "$(pwd)/plugin/skills/install-pendo-mobile" ~/.cursor/skills/install-pendo-mobile
# Codex
ln -s "$(pwd)/plugin/skills/install-pendo-mobile" ~/.agents/skills/install-pendo-mobile
git pull inside that clone picks up future updates to the skill for both tools.
