Install dependencies
npm install
Create a Supabase project at https://supabase.com and get your keys from Project Settings → API.
Environment variables — copy the example and fill it:
cp .env.example .env.local
NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_URL=https://YOUR-PROJECT-ref.supabase.co
NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY=your-anon-public-key
Apply the database schema — open the Supabase SQL Editor and run the contents of
supabase/migrations/0001_init.sql.
This creates all tables, indexes, triggers, and RLS policies, and wires the
handle_new_user trigger that auto-creates a profile on sign-up.
Auth redirect URLs — in Supabase Authentication → URL Configuration, add your site
URL (e.g. http://localhost:3000) and the redirect …/auth/callback.
For local testing you may disable "Confirm email" under Authentication → Providers → Email
so sign-up logs you straight in.
