QuotedPart plugins

Plugins that connect AI assistants to your QuotedPart account: price a CNC machined, turned, laser-cut or 3D-printed part from its STEP/IGES model or PDF drawing, get a job-shop style cost breakdown with price breaks by quantity, and open the saved quote in your account.

This repository holds only the plugin packaging. The plugin connects to the hosted QuotedPart MCP server at https://quotedpart.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP). It needs an existing QuotedPart account, linked once (OAuth): you sign in to QuotedPart in the browser and allow the assistant. Each estimate is priced with your shop's own rates and saved as a quote in your account. Unlink it any time under Integrations in QuotedPart.

Demo, signed in to a QuotedPart account in Claude Code: media/demo-claude-code.mp4 (about 3 minutes; waits while tools run are sped up, and the sign-in fields, email and one-time codes are blurred). It shows, in order:

1. /mcp → quotedpart → Authenticate: the QuotedPart sign-in page, then the consent page ("Allow Claude Code to use QuotedPart?").
2. A STEP file in the working folder priced in 6061 aluminum, 25 pieces: the skill calls create_upload, uploads the file with curl, then estimate_price.
3. The same part priced again with its PDF drawing: material and finish (anodize) are read from the drawing, and the drawing's open questions are listed.
4. A re-price of part HX-1042 in 304 stainless on that quote, with update_estimate.
5. A spreadsheet link (budget.xlsx): nothing is priced, and the assistant asks for a STEP/IGES/DXF model or PDF drawing instead.
6. The quote link opened in QuotedPart: the quote with its 3D view, drawing and price breaks.
