Read the full README ↗StormDPS is a real-time tropical cyclone analysis tool that computes the Destructive Power Score (DPS) — a 0–100 composite hurricane rating that captures storm size, surge potential, duration of coastal exposure, and geographic reach, not just peak wind. A modern open-data alternative to the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale.
It covers every ocean basin globally, features 220+ historical storms with full DPS profiles, and delivers live weather intelligence through both a web tracker and a public REST API.
