Every checked question carries a source record (official notification/syllabus reference, URL, and the date it was verified) — no fabricated or "leaked paper" claims. Results and progress are stored only on the visitor's own device (localStorage); there is no account system and no server-side tracking of attempts.
157 exams are currently live with real mock tests, across 1,222 tests and 31,273 questions (7 September 2026). See TAKEMOCKTEST_CURRENT_STATUS.md for the authoritative current count and public/llms.txt for a per-exam summary.
Alongside the per-exam mocks there is one cross-exam practice section, the Logical Reasoning hub (src/lib/logical-reasoning.ts): 18 graded sets built by referencing reasoning questions that already ship inside exam mocks, by ID, rather than duplicating them. It owns no question content and no negative marking. See src/lib/logical-reasoning-data.ts for the generated grades and set composition, and scripts/build-lr-pool.mjs for the extraction step.
Exam content (research, question writing, independent QA) is produced through a separate ChatGPT-based workflow and handed to the coding agent as an approved package for repository integration. Read TAKEMOCKTEST_DEVELOPMENT_OPERATING_MODEL.md before doing any content or integration work — it defines the split and the rules that follow from it. QUESTION_BANK_HANDOFF.md and TAKEMOCKTEST_CONTENT_SCHEMA.md cover the handoff process and the exact schema.
Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 3. Static export (output: 'export' in next.config.mjs) — every page is pre-rendered as real, crawlable HTML at build time. No database or login system; test progress and results use browser-side persistence.
npm install
npm run dev
npm run lint
npm run qa:questions
npm run qa:assets
npm run build
npm run qa:links # hub reachability + dead internal links (needs out/, so run after build)
npm run qa:thin-content # boilerplate ratio across generated sections (needs out/)
npm run qa:schema # JSON-LD validity across every page (needs out/)
npm run qa:drift # diff every page's SEO state against the committed baseline (needs out/)
npm run qa:dashes # no em or en dashes in authored prose (source only, no build needed)
npm run qa:hreflang # hreflang rules + rendered tags (rules run without a build)
npm run qa:site # full quality gate: lint + qa:questions + qa:assets + build + SEO + links
qa:drift compares out/ against TAKEMOCKTEST_SEO_BASELINE.json, a committed
snapshot of every page's title, description, canonical, robots directives, h1,
heading structure, schema types and sitemap membership. It fails the build only
on de-indexing changes — a page removed, noindexed, stripped of its canonical or
title, or dropped from the sitemap — and prints title/description/schema moves as
warnings. When those changes are intentional, accept them with:
npm run seo:baseline # re-capture the baseline from the current build
Review the diff of TAKEMOCKTEST_SEO_BASELINE.json before committing it: that
diff is the record of what a change did to the site's search footprint.
