Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, Gemini CLI or OpenCode can build and edit VEAF missions for you. To install the tools and connect the assistant, run in PowerShell — or let Codex, OpenCode, Antigravity or Claude Code run it; Claude Desktop in chat mode cannot:
New-Item -ItemType Directory -Force "$env:USERPROFILE\VEAF\tools" | Out-Null
Set-Location "$env:USERPROFILE\VEAF\tools"
Invoke-WebRequest https://github.com/VEAF/VEAF-Mission-Creation-Tools/releases/download/published-latest/veaf-tools-updater.exe -OutFile veaf-tools-updater.exe -UseBasicParsing
.\veaf-tools-updater.exe
.\veaf-tools.exe ai-setup
Then restart the assistant and ask it to "create a mission": everything it needs ships with the tools. Details: Install the AI assistant.

# 1. Download veaf-tools-updater.exe from the GitHub release page and run it:
.\veaf-tools-updater.exe
# → installs veaf-tools.exe and all VEAF scripts in the current folder
Then, depending on your starting point:
To see every feature in game first, play the v6 demo mission: a guided tour leads you through all of them.
You already have a VEAF mission folder (or created one with mission prepare):
.\veaf-tools.exe build
You only have a .miz file:
.\veaf-tools.exe extract my-mission.miz
# → edit mission.yaml to enable the modules you want
.\veaf-tools.exe build
Full workflow: Mission Maker Guide
# Setup
poetry install --with build
# Build
poetry run veaf-build build --version 6.0.5
# Test
poetry run test-lua
# Publish
poetry run veaf-build publish --version 6.0.5

VEAF Mission Creation Tools is a hybrid Lua + Python system:

New-Item -ItemType Directory -Force "$env:USERPROFILE\VEAF\outils" | Out-Null
Set-Location "$env:USERPROFILE\VEAF\outils"
Invoke-WebRequest https://github.com/VEAF/VEAF-Mission-Creation-Tools/releases/download/published-latest/veaf-tools-updater.exe -OutFile veaf-tools-updater.exe -UseBasicParsing
.\veaf-tools-updater.exe
.\veaf-tools.exe ai-setup

.\veaf-tools.exe build
Vous n'avez qu'un fichier .miz :
.\veaf-tools.exe extract ma-mission.miz
.\veaf-tools.exe build
