The modpack is the simple way to play. It contains the Folkhold mods and a selection of mods for performance, nature, terrain, maps and inventory comfort.
folkhold-<version>.mrpack from the latest release./chunky spawn, /chunky radius 2000 and /chunky start (cheats must be on). A radius of 2000 blocks is about 62,500 chunks: the generation takes time, and the world uses more disk space. Chunky continues after a restart of the game.To use the mods without the modpack, put folkhold_core, folkhold_blocks and folkhold_world from the release in the mods folder of a Minecraft 1.21.1 instance with NeoForge 21.1.259 or later and GeckoLib 4.9.3 or later.
The project has two libraries and three mods. All mods share one version.
| Module | Mod ID | Content |
|---|---|---|
core | folkhold_core | Shared library: abstract simulation, regions, scheduler, UI framework |
blocks | folkhold_blocks | Library of the Folkhold blocks. The blocks act as similar vanilla blocks. The other mods add the game logic. |
world | folkhold_world | Factions, villages, economy, caravans, quests |
balance | folkhold_balance | Planned: farm limits, villager budgets, chunk loading. The mod is empty. |
events | folkhold_events | Planned: earthquakes, collapses. The mod is empty. |
The packwiz modpack (modpack/) adds existing mods for performance, nature and terrain.
