Introduction

Hostayo is a booking and operations tool for short-stay hosts in the Philippines. It takes a booking from the first message to checkout, and shows you the work and money attached to every stay, whether you host one room or manage a whole portfolio.

This repository is the website at hostayo.casa, where hosts can see how Hostayo works and ask for early access. The product itself lives in hostayo-app.

The problem

Most small hosts run their business out of Messenger threads, screenshots of payments, a spreadsheet for the calendar and a group chat with the cleaner. It works until it doesn't:

• Two guests ask for the same weekend and someone gets double-booked
• Nobody remembers who paid the deposit, or how much is still owed
• The cleaner doesn't know a unit is vacant until you tell them
• At the end of the month you can't say what each unit really earned

The solution

Hostayo keeps all of it in one place. Your calendar blocks overlapping bookings. Every guest gets one link with their dates, house rules and balance. Cleaning checklists appear the moment a guest checks out. And your money is laid out plainly: cash collected, deposits you're holding and expenses, each labelled.

• Deposits you're holding are kept separate from income, so the numbers mean what they say

• Turnover checklists appear at checkout, and your cleaner ticks them off from their phone
• Damage reports logged and resolved against the booking
• See at a glance which units are guest-ready

The source is published so you can see how Hostayo works. It is licensed under the PolyForm Strict License 1.0.0: you may read it and use it for noncommercial purposes, but you may not distribute it, modify it, or run it as your own product or service. The Hostayo name and logo are not licensed.
