Hostayo website
A calmer way to run your stays.

Introduction
Hostayo is a booking and operations tool for short-stay hosts in the Philippines. It takes a booking from the first message to checkout, and shows you the work and money attached to every stay, whether you host one room or manage a whole portfolio.
This repository is the website at hostayo.casa, where hosts can see how Hostayo works and ask for early access. The product itself lives in hostayo-app.
The problem
Most small hosts run their business out of Messenger threads, screenshots of payments, a spreadsheet for the calendar and a group chat with the cleaner. It works until it doesn't:
- Two guests ask for the same weekend and someone gets double-booked
- Nobody remembers who paid the deposit, or how much is still owed
- The cleaner doesn't know a unit is vacant until you tell them
- At the end of the month you can't say what each unit really earned
The solution
Hostayo keeps all of it in one place. Your calendar blocks overlapping bookings. Every guest gets one link with their dates, house rules and balance. Cleaning checklists appear the moment a guest checks out. And your money is laid out plainly: cash collected, deposits you're holding and expenses, each labelled.
What Hostayo does
Bookings and calendar
- One calendar for every unit, whether you host one room or a whole portfolio
- Block dates in seconds, with overlapping bookings stopped, even when two people book at once
- Holds, confirmations, check-in, check-out, extensions and cancellations, all from the booking itself
- Keep track of what's in each unit and which dates are open
Guests
- A welcome page for every booking with dates, house rules, balance and check-in details
- House rules written once per property
- Guest records with contact details and stay history
Money
- Record deposits and payments, and see what's collected and what's still owed
- Refunds and damage deductions with a clear paper trail
- Expenses, recurring bills and reports that show what each unit really earns
- Deposits you're holding are kept separate from income, so the numbers mean what they say
Operations
- Turnover checklists appear at checkout, and your cleaner ticks them off from their phone
- Damage reports logged and resolved against the booking
- See at a glance which units are guest-ready
Your team
- Owner, Admin, Operations Manager and Staff roles, each seeing only what they need
- Two-factor sign-in
- A record of who changed what and when
Made in the Philippines, with Asia/Manila time and pesos throughout.

How to contribute
Hostayo is built with hosts, so your experience shapes what comes next.
- Try it: request early access or look around the live demo.
- Tell us what's missing: open an issue describing how you run your stays and where it hurts. Real stories help most.
- Spot a problem on the site: a typo, a broken link or something confusing? Open an issue with a screenshot.
- Suggest an improvement: open an issue first so we can talk it through before anyone writes code.
- Spread the word: share Hostayo with a host who still runs on spreadsheets and screenshots.
