It's just HTML, CSS and a bit of vanilla JavaScript. No framework and no dependencies. One small Node script generates the English and Italian pages from the Spanish ones.
Everything lives in src/:
index.html, guide.html, sdk.html and credits.html are the pages, written in Spanish. en/ and it/ hold the same pages in English and Italian, generated by tools/build-languages.js. Downloads link to the releases page on GitHub.css/styles.css holds all the styles.js/ has the scripts: the language selector and redirect, the theme switch, the mobile menu, the scroll animations, the donation dialog and the download buttons. dictionary.js and i18n-*.js hold the English and Italian texts and are only read by the generator (and by the 404 page).img/ has the images and logos.sdk/ has the modding guides and the SDK templates in English, sdk/es/ and sdk/it/ the same in Spanish and Italian, plus the SDK zip. They are generated from the sdk/ folder of the mod repository and from docs/sdk-es/ and docs/sdk-it/, so don't edit them by hand.docs/sdk-es/ and docs/sdk-it/ are the Spanish and Italian translations of the SDK guides. They keep the structure of the English files (headings, code blocks, links and inline code), and node tools/check-sdk-translation.js es (or it) checks that. Prose is translated; file names, tools and options stay in English. The site is available in Spanish, English and Italian, each with its own address (/, /en/, /it/). On a first visit it suggests the language of your browser by redirecting; the language selector remembers your choice. Light or dark follows your system, and you can switch it from the header.
The Spanish text lives in the HTML. The English and Italian text lives in the dictionaries in src/js/i18n*.js, under the same data-i18n keys. After changing any text, regenerate the other languages:
node tools/build-languages.js
node tools/build-languages.js --check only reports whether the generated pages are up to date.
The SDK pages, the SDK zip and the sitemap are rebuilt with:
npm install --no-save [email protected]
node tools/build-sdk.js <path to the sdk folder of the mod repository>
node tools/build-sitemap.js
Every push and pull request runs GitHub Actions (.github/workflows/ci.yml): the generated pages must be up to date, and tools/check.js verifies script syntax, that every translation key exists in English and Italian, and that internal links and anchors resolve. To run it locally:
npm install --no-save [email protected]
node tools/check.js
Any static server works:
npx http-server src
Then open http://localhost:8080.
The site is hosted on Vercel, which deploys the src/ folder (see vercel.json) on every push to main. Pull requests get a preview deployment. Static assets are cached for a short time (one hour for CSS and scripts, one day for images).
Fixes and translations are welcome. Read CONTRIBUTING.md first, it's short.
The code is MIT, see LICENSE. Text, guides, images and logos have different terms, explained in LICENSE-CONTENT.md. The mod itself is a separate project and isn't covered by either file.
