Maths, English, Science, P2 Chinese and P2 Higher Chinese each have a Beat Baddie boss level where kids catch and correct Baddie's lies.
Hidden boss: Baddie Daddy, Baddie's father, waits behind a secret door after each Beat Baddie round (and after the last P1 Chinese deck). He only sometimes lies, so kids must decide truth or lie and explain why, plus type answers, tap mistakes, pick all correct options and put things in order.
Family login and Star Bank: the hub asks who is learning (Daddy, Mommy, Willis or Megan; no passwords). Willis, Megan, Daddy and Mommy (both beta testers) bank a star for every question answered right on the first try. A miss, or any question answered in the last 7 days, earns nothing, so replaying decks can't farm stars; after 7 days a question can earn a review star. Finishing a deck, beating Baddie or Baddie Daddy and finishing a story earn one-time bonuses. Grown-ups swap stars for rewards on bank.html. Stars sync through a Google Sheet (setup); without one they stay on each device. The shared logic lives in stars.js, which every deck loads.
Every deck is a single self-contained HTML file with Learn / Try it / Quiz sections, read-aloud, and no build step. The 听写 pages load stroke data for each character from the hanzi-writer-data CDN, so they need an internet connection for stroke animations.
